So, when I was 2, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She did her chemo- treatments, had a visectomy (however you spell it), and 15 years later... she's all better and 100% clear of any cancer at all. She's 47.

My gram (mom's mom) was just diagnosed with Lukemia. Her memory has been going for a long time now and everyday she'll be talking about something, end the conversation, then start talking about the same thing again. The doctors say its the cancer. It's so hard watching this disease kill her. She's 80.

Me. I'm 17, and I have no medical problems... my future isn't looking good though. My boyfriend and I are so scared I'm going to get cancer. Even my doctor wants to start mammograms as early as 20.
I'm scared...It's not like this is affecting my life drastically and I think about it every minute of every day but.. it's always in the back of my head saying: Brittany what if you get cancer...
help?

My best friend and I are taking up practical nursing. One time she show me her breast, she told me to observe her breast, because she felt that there is something wrong to her breast. So I found out that there is a form of mass on her left breast. I don't know what to think that time. Is it a tumor or just something? Im worried for her. And what are the risk factor of having a breast cancer?

Okay, I have had a wonderful life up untill about 3 months ago.
After summer camp My great grandma died and I got pretty upset, then my friend started talking about her weight and I realized that I was heavier than her and she's a year older than me so I thought I should go on a diet.
It went wrong.
I heard about pro ana from teen vouge and I looked up and then went pro ana.
I stopped eating a ton and I even went without food for 2 days.
Then I decided to stop cause I thought my parents would take me out of dance.
Then I got more upset, ate a ton and gained 4 pounds.
I found myself over the toilet puking it all up.
Then I grabbed a knife and started cutting myself.
Can someone tell me If I have depression or something?

I have an awful pain in my right lower abdomen and doctors have ruled out appendicitis and ovarian cysts and also don't believe it has to do with my gallbladder, but are stumped. My boyfriend just found a few days ago that he has mumps. We were out last Friday, (about 4 days after he found out he had them) and I'm concerned I may have been exposed to them. My mom said I only had mumps on one side and it was a very light case and she isn't even sure if that is what it was. I work with kids and worry I may expose others unknowingly, yet I don't want to go without working, they depend on me to be there. How soon will I start seeing symptoms? Geez, I KNOW its too soon but would you believe I have a sore throat? LOL Its only been a week! Any tips?

I have hypothroidism. About 3 times a week, I drink Rockstar or Monster energy drink. this is usually on the days when I haven't had much sleep. Well, the other day my tsh level went up. So, now I am changing from Levothyroxin 150mcg to 175mcg. A friend at work said that I need to stay away from the energy drinks because they are not good for me. Aren't they just high caffiene content drinks?
