Bipolar Disorder and other emotional disorders are overly diagnosed in this day and age. Everyone wants to medicate our kids just because they are high energy KIDS! Bipolar Disorder is hereditary. Chances are if one of the childs parents have been diagnosed with it, and the child is displaying the same characteristics, then it may need to be checked out. A supplement called 'Cod liver oil' is suppose to be helpful in leveling out extreme behaviorisms. Good Luck. It's a hard thing to have to deal with.
