I know they ruled out physical, but it could be a medication side effect - many seniors are taking muscle relaxants for pain, and these muscle relaxants can cause that. Have they ruled out an anxiety disorder?

They are doing a test study on a medication for RLS
(Restless leg syndrome)

I had it for a while because of the medication I was on. I used to have to walk around to help it. Now it's gone because I switched medications.

Never heard of that but if it bothers him then i would take him to see another doc to if they might have some better advice than the other doc..

Is it Restless Leg Syndrome? Does he feel like he has to move his legs because they hurt? or do they just shake? If it RLS, Requip is a medicine that is supposed to help.

I know this sounds crazy but does he drink alcohol? My ex had the same time whenever he drank or was hungover and his doctor told him it was from alcohol. Crazy I know!
