The only lasting damage you really need to be remotely concerned with is cardiomyopathy (http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4468). Assuming you've been off it for some time, and you were only an occasional user, it's unlikely that you even need to be worried about that.
A cardiologist can do an echocardiogram to determine if damage occurred if you are concerned, or if you have a family history of cardiomyopathy that might make you predisposed to that kind of damage.
If it were me with that history I wouldn't be concerned unless I was exhibiting symptoms. Most short-term damage reverses itself once you stop.

You'll be asked those questions if you're evaluated from a Cardiologist, so be as truthful as possible. The more you explain, the better the outcomes -- it's not the time and place to hide any drug abuse, be it recreational or habitual.
Cocaine and many illicit drugs WILL damage the heart and kidneys (both go together in heart/kidney treatment). It's due to medications tiered by careful research to proper medicinal levels for x amount of duration. Experimenting with drug use doesn't have those safeguards, resulting in more damage and fatalities. It's a sure way to commit suicide, be it quickly or chronically.
Due yourself a favor and get a health check, and quit taking illicit drugs. There are many pleasures in life that are more exhilarating (skydiving for one) that no drug can replace, as a natural "high" is much more rewarding. You'll feel clean, accomplish what few can do, and all perfectly legal, as well.
Take care of your temple (your body), as you only have one for life.

Absolutely!! I've taken care of patients who have had massive heart attacks with these drugs, not to mention cardiomyopathy and liver/kidney damage. These drugs can be toxic at different levels with everyone-and now you also have to be concerned with the "additives" -they can kill you faster than the "drug". Three years of coke and meth is a little more than "recreational"; follow-up with a cardiologist-be honest with them and do your best to avoid any further drug use.

You probly should go to a doc and tell them what you did, cuz you MAY have damaged it. Meth is a poisen,... and so is coke....so yea, get it checked out. Youll feel better if you do.
And no one does meth recreationally, they keep doing it, till they get help.

i think you should be worried about your brain. think of it this way, when an organ fails, the other organs fail as well.
maybe INdirectly, drugs affect the heart... but in some cases i've encountered, people who overdose on drugs just stop breathing and we had to intubate them and put them on a mechanical ventilator -- and hyperventilate them.
if you are not currently on illegal drugs anymore, don't start the habit again. and when you have time, see a doctor and get tested for your own peace of mind.

The body heals itself. If you have stopped I doubt if there's damage. The key is eating healthy. No white bread, no candy ect. Plenty of fruits, rye bread, and a good balance of meat and chicken. Also, take vitamins like milk thistle.

You probably haven't done damage if you haven't noticed any symptoms. I presume you haven't continued to do these drugs, if you are still doing them, you could be in danger of damaging your heart among other things. Get help if you haven't stopped, it could save your life.
