I wouldn't. Stick with Tylenol. Aspirin, Ibuprofen and other NSaid drugs (Naproxen) can cause your symptoms to worsen.

aspirin is irritating to your stomach lining, therefore, any acid you produce will cause more pain in those areas where the aspirin has eroded the protective lining. aspirin does not make reflux worse, but you may have added pain for the above reason.
also avoid caffeine and alcohol, both of which allow the esophageal sphincter (the "door" from the esophagus to stomach) to relax - it opens further and allows the acid to backwash upwards. fatty foods can do this as well.
as far as pain meds go, tylenol is gentler on the stomach than aspirin. if aspirin really helps you, try ecotrin, or enteric-coated aspirin - the coating helps reduce stomach irritation.
good luck!

Please see the webpages for more details on Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Aspirin. Caution should be taken in patients with kidney disease, peptic ulcers, mild diabetes, gout or gastritis; manufacturers recommend talking to one's doctor before using this medicine(Aspirine). To prevent stomach upset, take aspirin with meals, a full glass of water, or milk.

I too suffer from reflux disease and since I was prescribed tablets (unfortunately I haven't got them at work with me, so name unknown) by my GP, my life has changed considerably in not being bothered with the ongoing probelms associated with reflux. These suppress the acid in the gut and are absolutely amazing. I will try to come back on tomorrow with the name of the tablets although they may not be suitable for you. Suggest see you GP for advice.
I am on Pariet (Rabeprazole Sodium). Another one that I know works is called Zoton. Hope this helps

Its not a good idea to take aspirin or any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (like ibuprofen, diclofenac etc) if you have reflux; you may be at risk of a peptic ulcer in your stomach which would be worsened by these medications. Aspirin can be replaced by safer medication if you are on it to thin the blood (clopidogrel) or by other safer painkillers.

ASA is the most ulcerogenic medicine in the hierarchy of drug-induced gastropathies. Make sure you do not have an ulcer before you take ASA. Otherwise, on top of a reflux, you'd have ulcers forming. Reflux symptoms generally improve with strong acid suppressants. If pain persists, endoscopy is warranted.

webmd has a list of some. yesterday i had a very bad migraine and called my doctor and she told me I could take regular strength tylenol (not ibufrofin or advil or aspirin , just tylenol regular strength) as long as i took the recommended dose which was two pills but to only take it if absolutely necessary (which it was I had the migraine for a day and a half and it was started to make me feel very sick). However, before I knew I was pregnant i took ibufrofin and was fine.
