Okay, so I can't remember it for anything, though I know I had learned it in psychology last year. There are some people, with a psychological disorder that have to hurt themselves and cause themselves pain to know that they still have the ability to feel. What is it? Please help me!

I believe you are referring to masochism. At least, that is one condition where the person feels he MUST feel pain.
