I asked my ex many times if he had anything. He got tested and told me that the results were negative. Now I find out that he DID have a disease and just didn't tell me. Can he get in trouble for this? I was even pregnant when we messed around. So not only did he put me in danger, but also my daughter.

I was diagnosed 10 years ago and I have already changed my diet, I exercise as much as I can but not too often. I think my problem is that my mind works 100 miles a minute and even when I'm in bed at night it takes forever to fall asleep because I think too much. First thing in the morning I'm back at it and I can't seem to control it. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and if you have any hobbies to control it?

My family doctor recommended I go see an allergist and I am going to go in a few weeks. In the meantime, he gave me a shot of Demerol and it is working very well. Can anyone tell me exactly what type of shots are given for allergies and what the side affects are? I'm allergic to everything, from animal dander to pollen to strawberries! My doctor doesn't usually recommend shots but he said I am an exception. I've never been to an allergist and I'm not sure what to expect.

I read in the news about a 16 year old boy who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, a form of cancer, who does not want to go through a second round of chemotherapy and the state is trying to force him. The first round of chemo left him very weak and sick, and despite initial success, his cancer came back a few months after. His doctor ordered a second round of chemo, but the teenager decided against it and with his parent's support, chose an alternative, herbal treatment. The doctor disagreed with their medical choice and reported them to social services. Now the state is taking them to court, alleging medical neglect, and is trying to take custody from the parents.

Do you think that the state of Virginia has the right to force the 16 year old to take chemotherapy and remove custody from his parents? Isn't the state going too far? Remember, chemotherapy is a treatment, not a cure, and there is no guarantee that it will work.

My family and I were recently visiting DC and found the area around the reflection pond utterly discusting. littered with geese and duck droppings everywhere........ It would seem that this will become a breeding ground for the bird flu..........

Sweating removes toxins from the body and phosphorus, which is a problem with dialysis, this seems like a good way to remove waste and help with dialysis.
