I should say diverticulitis,which is the inflamed condition of diverticulosis.It is said to be a condition that 50% of us in the western world suffer from especially over the age of 50.It is little pockets formed in the bowel and the food sometimes gets stuck in there and causes bacteria that causes inflamation and sever pain in the lower sigmoid colon.I just had a serious attack of it and thought i was dying.

Four weeks ago I had a TB test that came out positive. I was sent to a specialist whom reported me being a dormate type for now. She told the doctor to have me come in on Wed. I followed up as directed. I met with a nurse and she explained they do not look for the person I contracted this virus from unless I can provide a name and have to be positive they have it. What is wrong with this system ? Clearly a person is walking around our community with this and is infecting others. I have a list of all client and contact person's I have worked with. they wish to know nothing..... Anyway, It is now four weeks later and I have left at least 10 message's on the nurse's answering machine. Have not got a call back to see when I am to start medications. I have been thinking about of two outlets. One is the county newspaper, second writing a complaint to the Maryland Health and Hygeine Departmet. What would you suggest.if you were in this situation?

right away from the pain behind my ear what i had, but What I want to know Is if there are others who have had this return before as well. I am also aware that the more times one has this return, the more chances of you being left with some form of permant scar

For those who do not know what Bells Palsy is,,,It is a condition where the nerves behind either your right or left ear become inflamed do to stress or a virus and it causes the nerves to stop working and you lose most , if not all muscle control on that one side of your face...It temporally parolizes(spelt wrong) them and right now I feel like a freak...An I am afraid that because I have had it so many times in my life that I am gonna stay this way....HELP!!

And yes. I have been seen by my doctor and being treated for it.

My scalp gives off small, clear looking crystals. They could be compared to "Sugar in the raw" ( a larger type of sugar crystals), but they are clear. These make my scalp itch continuously. I went to my doctor, and he perscribed selenium sulfide (2.5%), but the only affect this had on me was to give me what looked like very thin flakes. What condition could I have? Any advice will be really appreciated...

My boyfriend wants me to have a bi sexual expereince with an ex girlfriend of his, but I am prettty sure that she has gential warts cause when I met him he was getting them but has been treated and we have never had unprotected sex since the treatments and no intercourse before I have been cked and do not have the virus, We told this girl but she never went and got checked or treated. They are really on an emotional rollercoaster this last week since they found out. They seem to be struggling with a few things (1) giving shots 4 times to a day and hurting their child is getting to them (2) it's forever (3) they are concerned about treatment- worried that they are not doing it right- she could have a low blood sugar episode, etc. (4) their daughter is confused and bummed out- they feel like this will break her spirit (5) they have other young kids and it's putting stress on all of them.

any advice on what we might to do to help, things we might be able to say to assuage their stress, or resources that they might use to help them transition? Anything.

my boyfriend has lupas. Some days he has real bad pain. Today his legs are really burning. He's in alot of pain. Heating pads aren't helping. Neither is pain medication. Any other ideas. Please help with your opinion. I will be very grateful. Thank you in advance.

I think that I wouldn't fall ill so often if I drank something that's cleaner because of distillation. And alcohol is distilled...

I get little white lumps on my scalp, not attatched to it, they come off! i don't think it's dandruff as they're little white round things and i always use anti-dandruff shampoo. it's not lice eggs as 1/ i don't have lice 2/ they're little hard lumps 3/ they seem to grow from my scalp rather than to be attached to my hair. my ex had a similar thing so i'm thinking it may be something contagious! any clues... oh yeah... sometimes my scalp itches alot and i got little sore spots sometimes too in my scalp

ex called employer and stated HCV and that I was unfit to work with people. Ex's soon to be ex wife has called me and told me it was him and she will provide phone records to match those employer has. Employer took call that day and will verify what was stated. Do have any legal recourse?

I started to have widespread pain and strange symptoms immediately after I had my daughter. Now a year and a half later I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. my family doctor said to me jokingly "you should have another baby and see if it reverses the fibromyalgia." now a few months later i am wondering if there could be any truth to this.
