Why Did They Invent Drugs If We're Not Suppose To Use Them?

Well a lot of things are used differently today then they were originally used for. Alcoholic beverages were originally made to be able to keep liquids from going bad so you don't waste anything. For example, grape juice will go bad and cause waste but wine will keep the juice drinkable so you don't have to throw any away. Marijuana was used as a way to connect to the spirits (and as a spiritual experience inducing herb in general) by Native Americans and others. Steroids were originally intended to help those with certain diseases (like allergies and asthma). There are some drugs out there that have been around for a very long time (opium) that have always been used as a recreational drug. But in this time, most drugs are made because people LIKE to use them and there is a lot of money in the drug and alcohol industries.

Just because something's invented doesn't mean you're required to put it into your body. Windex was invented - try injecting some of that and see what happens.

Drugs were created and invented to help people with medical conditions. Drugs that do nothing but get you 'high' and serve no other purpose were created and invented by losers. People who use those kinds of drugs are also losers.

drugs are like anything else, you can USE them wrong. like a hammer. I can use it to do a good thing and build something OR, I can use it and kill something with it. It is all too simple. People have been using drugs for thousands of years. we did not "invent" drugs. The many forms of life on earth invented them and man merely tapped into them.
