My sister has lupus, and she got chemo-therapy for it ,its something new that they are trying , it has work out great for her. It's not like the harsh chemo that they used for the cancer patients, but a lower dose. She actually went in one a month for three months. She works full time and is a mother of two. So tell your boyfriend that although it may not cure it, it will make life worth living. We live in Miami Florida. My sister recieved treatment at Jackson Memorial Hospital, which is a teaching hospital, they also have a support group for lupus patient,. The phone number is 3055851111, just ask for the lupus support group or department or you can email me for more info since I work for the hospital.

If he has lupus, he should be seeing I think a Rheumatologist. Prednisone would probably help. Let him get to a doc, this is not a thing for home or internet treatment.
