My Sister & Brother in Law have been drunk for almost a month. We've been here before but never for this long. This time they seem to be past a point where I can get them to stop drinking and start thinking. They don't seem to care about anything. They have no insurance. I have no money. I have to find a residential program for them before it's too late. Help.

The basic Essiac herb combination is 4 herbs. But I've seen a couple of websites that sell it with 4 additional herbs. Has anyone tried either? I'm trying to find out which one would be easier to take (taste better)?

I can't handle hot weather and humid days. It's going to be 100! I don't want to just sit by a/c. But, look I am! lol Does this happen to you, too?

Wouldn't curing AIDS or other blood related diseases be just a matter of draining ones blood and infusing a completly new change. (like changing oil in a car) Couldn't there also be a way of cleaning the blood outside of the body using heat to destroy the infection and reentering it into the body? Could these ideas work. why or why not?

Yesterday I was practising holding my breath for a long time and with a lot of air to augment my breathing capacity, and now they hurt. Is this dangerous, how long will they hurt, should I go to a doctor. I'll apreciate the help and give points.

In the last couple of weeks, my hands have started shaking--noticeably. If I really concentrate, I can control it--to a degree. I'm really stressed about heading off to college...could it just be nerves, or is it something more serious?

My mother and I have had a discusion on H.I.V aids and Hep C. She believes that they are both the same desease and I say they are not. Can some one please help with the answer to this. She thinks that if you have Hep C it will turn into H.I.V aids, without contracting aids first or having contact with the virus.
My answer was that aids and hep C are 2 different deseases and aids involves the inmune system and Hep C is to do with the liver although I said if you have Hep C you can contact aids if you have contact with aids as you would nornally. If you can answer this question I would love to hear from you. Who is right?

I take about 6 - 8mgs of Warfarin a day following my aortic valve replacement surgery. I have been told not to have more than two small glasses of wine at any one time. Needless to say, this isn't always easy to live with - especially at summer barbeques. What would happen if I exceeded this allowance? How hazardous would it be to my health? We only really ever drink at weekends but I could easily manage a whole bottle by myself over the course of an evening.
