Oral herpes and genital herpes are two completely different strains of the virus. They are BOTH herpes, but they are different strains.

Oral herpes or cold sores are herpes simplex virus 1 and genital herpes are herpes simplex virus 2.

So, even though you have cold sores, doesn't mean you have genital herpes. And unless you get genital herpes, you will not get any symptoms from it, even though you have cold sores.

If you were to give someone oral sex though, there is a chance you can give them genital herpes. In fact, 30% of people with genital herpes got them from cold sores. Also, if you kiss someone there is a chance of them also getting cold sores. This is the easiest way to transmit cold sores. If someone were to give you oral sex though, there would be NO way for them to get herpes. If you don't have genital herpes they can not get genital herpes from giving you oral sex, but they can get cold sores from you if you kiss them, and they can get genital herpes if you give them oral sex.

And for the guy who said oral herpes is about 99% of the people on Earth...so NOT true. About 70% of the world has oral herpes. NOT 99%. Even though my fiance and I both have genital herpes, neither of us has cold sores (or oral herpes). It doesn't affect everyone.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

Yes you most definitely have genital herpes and never have an outbreak and you can still transmit it to someone else with out an outbreak. It is just more likely that you will transmit it during an out break. Try contacting or visiting a planned parenthood near you they should be able to help you out with more detailed information.

I got identified with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 3 yrs ago, when I was still in college and had a foolish one-night stand. I realize a lot of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/bA436 everything improved.

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

Oral herpes exists in about 99% of people on Earth. Genital in about 60% of Americans. Females rarely have symptoms because of where the outbreaks occur.

Was it herpes 1 or 2,
Its highly possible because medical science still cannot find why and when it is triggered.
Don't worry no big deal just couple of days of discomfort unless during giving birth.
