Yes, it does. My face turns bright red, and I feel shaky, and short of breath.
I just avoid being out in this sort of weather, but have found that taking a pottasium supplement, as well as drinking gatorade, or powerade seems to help a bit.
Don't take more than the reccomended amount of potassium as it can be dangerous.
I have also learned that, at least in my case, and that of my daughter, who has the same problem only more severe, that we don't prespire like most people. In fact, we hardly prespire at all. This is the bodies way of keeping itself cool.
Another helpful hint if you have to be out in this type of heat, try rubbing your wrists, and back of neck with either a baggie with ice in it, or if you don't mind the drips, just the ice itself.

No doesn't bother me, we youth have to get use to it anyways LOL.
I LOVE HOT and Humid Weather... I got FL fever, and I can't stand the cold now... use to back when I was little but when I lived in FL for 4 1/2 years it changed me.
I like it HOT and Humid, I hate DRY HEAT... and I hate DRY COLD even more! ! !

here in ks the heat and humidity has been absolutly terrible...i cant stand it...i dont want to go out to get the mail...if i have to go out for any extended period of time...within 10 minutes i am feeling dizzy and sick to my stomach...some people say that i am dehydrated but i have tried to drink tons of water before going out and i still have the same problem...i really hate the heat and humidity..ive wanted to move to alaska my whole life!!!!
