My 3 year old today was diagnosed with croup in the ER and I had mentioned how my 6 month old was coughing as well, she had said with my 3 year old just put on vicks or a mistor or take him outside for a few min. Should I do the same with my 6 month old? Or take him in too? They didn't give my 3 year ol anything for meds but a steroid for his croup.

ok my question was will braces get rid of my lisp its not that major of a lisp but i have trouble saying words like vagetable and washed but i heard the lisp is caused by but teeth which i have and they also are cuased by over bite which i have also and also when i say s sounding words my right side of my lip goes to the right so i was wondering if braces would get rid of my lisp

I took a small dose (500mg, one pill) of Tylenol (acetometaphin) and my question is.....how soon after that dose is it safe to drink (wine, beer, etc)? Is it after the 4 hours it has been in your system, or is it a full 24 hr day? Thanks in advance!

Mien i hate pimples they just never give up.I have many pimples on my face Only on my cheeks and forhead it don't spread.When a pimple go away it leave a red scar and it show like a pimple is still there.My point is what can i use to reduce pimples and scars??? I've been extremely allergic lately, and I found out that it's related to a certain food. Anyway, when I'm allergic, I break out in eczema on my hands mostly, but this time I got it on my face, neck, wrists, and up my arms too. I also have some red patches on my scalp and some dandruff (not really huge flakes though, just looks like powdery almost). I know that the red patches could be from the allergic reaction, but what about the dandruff? Is that at all related to eczema? I'm using Nizoral shampoo and I'm hoping that works! Thanks so much!

i was having long and very heavy periods--about 9-10 days. upon going to my gynecologist for birth control, she suggested ortho-tricyclen.

my period started Wednesday, January 31th...i started taking my first pill on Sunday, February 4th...by monday my period was significantly lighter, but it still has not stopped!!! tomorrow will be 19 days, but it is light--so much so that i don't really need to wear a pad, but still it hasn't completly stopped.
should i call my doctor on Monday? or just assume it's my body adjusting to the new hormone levels?

I work at a vet clinic, and we see a lot of dogs with intestinal parasites, like roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. I know most of the parasites dogs get are species specific. But I also know it is possible for a human to get them. But from what I have learned they act differently in humans than in dogs. They tend to effect the eyes, or other parts of the body. But I am watching this gross show on animal planet about people who have had them in their intestines. Working around intestinal parasites nearly every day at the vet clinic, I get worried about catching them. While I try to be as cautious as possible, wearing gloves, keeping the area clean, and washing my hands very good, I still sometimes get scared about it.
Has anyone ever had an intestinal parasite?
