Is there anything out there to gurantee for me to grow at least 2 more inches? I am desperate!

I just found out I have emphasima (early stages ) and I have been a smoker for 12 years now. I just found this out about an hour ago, and I could KILL for a cigarrette, I still have half a pach left, but I'm afraid to take one and light it up now, please people, I need your support here...I'm already out of patience with two kid's and now no ciggarrettes, I know there's no such thing as having just one. But woul;d it be alright just to take the edge off. Before my wife kills be for being such an ***.... if you catch my drift.

I have always watched what I eat and now I have been hungry ALL the time! I had a baby 3 months ago and at first I was losing weight pretty fast, but now I have gained 5 pounds in two weeks. Has anyone ever had this problem? I have a hypothyroid and am on medication for it and have talked with my doctor but she seems unconcerned because my weight hasn't gotten me into the obese range, but I would like to fix this before it does. Any suggestions other than stop eating? I am drinking alot of water, trying to eat veggies for snacks and keep with portion control for meals, but my stomach starts growling within an hour of eating and I feel famished....please help!!!!

I asked this question earlier but found something new to add.
I have a question for anyone who might be able to help. A month ago I suddenly got a cough and throat hurt a lot so doctor told me bronchitus and would be gone in a week or two acter taking meds. Took meds but cough never wenty away. So he preschribed some zpac thing and said that should handle it but it didn't. So he finally said it was pneumonia and I tyook those shots for 4 straight days, but that ended friday and I still have a cough and swear I'ma ctually getting worse everytime he tries to help. Before it was just a cough. But now I still hae a slight cough (as long as I dont do anything physical) but I'm starting to get a lot of sinus pains and having hot streaks and trouble sleeping at night andjust feeling overall sicker. I'm only a 24 yr old guy and was very active up tilt his point and I'm just getting beyond frustratted here as no one or thing seems to be helping me out. Is this sort of thing normal to be going through if I'm just getting over pneumonia? Please help.

By "sadism" I don't mean dressing up in latex/leather/chains/etc and playing strange little games with some other consenting adult in the privacy of one's own boudoir. I mean sadism in the psychopathological sense - truly enjoying causing and/or witnessing the suffering of others. And I am not implying by any means that *everyone* in the ruling classes is sadistic - there are clearly compassionate people within those ranks. But there have been certain things going on for which the easiest explanation is the existence of what we might call a "sadistocracy"... After all, wouldn't a psychopathological sadist *try* to get as much power as possible, in order to inflict pain on the greatest number of people possible, even entire nations? I'm also not suggesting that there aren't other sadists operating under other guises in other cultures, there clearly are. But here, we might have unwittingly elected some of them to office...

I got into it with a chat user today and next thing i the person was sending me PM's that that said " i hope your kids get raped", I wanna meet your kids in a teen chat room without your supervision" etc. I'm afraid if i dont comply with his orders he may try track my kids down in person. should i let him chat with them in a teen chat room or what??

I've been sick for a while and i know alot of people answering will be like "Go see a doctor." Well I'm working on that, but i was wondewring if anyone could give me a general idea of what I have and what to do, or a website that can help.

What I'm feeling:
Throat hurts [feels like its dry] which also pains a little to yawn
Constant small coughs that are coming up with nothing
Congested
Right side of my jaw hurts

Im taking some medicine but its itsnt helping much, but i would be most thankful if someone could help, Thank You for your Time

My boyfriend was hospitalized earlier this week and it scared the hell out of me. I told him that we both need to quit smoking. He hasn't stop. Hopefully, I can quit and set an example for him. What else should I do when I "need" a cigarette? At what point will I know I have overcome this 10 year addiction?

okay. i dont know if stress has anything to do with it but yeah. Ive been getting joint pains, headaches, nuseau sometimes, bloating, direah, muscle aches, heart palpitations, and anxiety like symtpoms. Now for maybe the past week are two after i use the bathroom my anus starts to hurt and burn. When i cleaned it out it didnt hurt as bad. I get pain and itching. Its scary. No fever, are any of that though, First i thought i had a brain tumor, then lukemiah, and then tons of other things. I think i stressed myselve out from worrying so much can stress and anxiety cause this?

it started out like a normal cold would with a sore throat and then to a stuffy/runny nose. those symptoms started last thursday and my fever started last sunday. i stayed home all week and felt a lot better on wednesday. so, i didn't stay home on thursday. however, when i got home that night, my throat started almost aching (it feels like when you run/excericise outside and its cold and your throat hurts for a little after that from the cold). and my fever started coming back strong. i stayed home again friday and still have a slight fever tonight. any idea what this could be?

I have spent my whole life trying so hard not to become my father that I became my mother instead.

I love my mum but really don't like her as a person (nor do alot of other people). I'm now 29 and can see so much of my mother in myself I'm beging to dislike the person I have become. I know it is part of life that we take on traits of or parents and that it's unavoidable but this is beyond that.

I take a look at myself and see that parts I don't like but have no idea how to recondition myself so I can be more like me and less like her.
