I just found out I have emphasima (early stages ) and I have been a smoker for 12 years now. I just found this out about an hour ago, and I could KILL for a cigarrette, I still have half a pach left, but I'm afraid to take one and light it up now, please people, I need your support here...I'm already out of patience with two kid's and now no ciggarrettes, I know there's no such thing as having just one. But woul;d it be alright just to take the edge off. Before my wife kills be for being such an ***.... if you catch my drift.

Your best bet:
1) Ditch the cigarrettes
2) Buy (instead) nicotine replacement - you can get it over the counter now...patches, gum, etc. (this will take the edge off)
3) Talk to your doc about getting some wellbutrin (this will also help with the urge...and the mood)

Your alternative:
Give into the urge, smoke, and keep killing your body until you need heart surgery (or die of a heart attack) and/or require 24/7 oxygen...and wheel an oxygen tank around with you whever you go...lest you feel so tired and short of breath that you don't ever want to leave your bed...

Just the plain truth.

...if you catch my drift.
