i have a white thick straight line along both my underarms.. i dont know how i got it. the streak is completly straight and white. then the other parts of my arm is tan. its so -_-.. how do i make it go away and how the heck did i get it. thanks

I still want to be able to keep track of my cycles and monitor my body and cervical mucus and cervical position while taking this birth control. Do you think it would be pointless to do this?? I really would like some advice on this I think I am being paranoid but for some reason I can't shake the feeling that it is going to take forever to conceive once I stop taking this birth control pill. HELP PLEASE

I'm 33 healthy female. I have a swollen lymph node on one side of my groin about an inch in size. It is firm, soft but is not painful. I've had it a little over a month and about a week ago I got another smaller one right above it that is swollen. Any suggestions on the cause?

The other day i slipped on some ice and landed on my arm. I thought it was fine... but a couple of days on my arm is having surges of pain quite frequently and my veins seem very large specially at the back of my arm as if they arnt emptying.... any ideas on what may be causing this and wether i should consult some one???

Hey!
are there other common causes of diarrhoea other then the 'gastro' virus..and generally is diarrhoea contagious?
my boyfriend has come down with a bit of it the last 48 hours.. and i REALLY dont want to get it (haha how selfish am i!).
he hasnt really had any other symptoms, maybe saw muscles, and a 'heavy head' he started off being really tired.
Keeping in mind he had a rather big weekend (lack of sleep and whatever else he got up to).. could he just be run down?

Ok im a 16 year old of Fijian ethnicity (island near austrailia) and im wondering why i cant do pullups. i can do like 2 on a good day. I work out only twice a week because of school and all. also i got my mind set on enlisting in the Marine Corps so i have to improve on my pull ups. i can already pass the other two parts of the physical fitness test. am i weak because i dont eat pork or beef? (never eaten pork or beef in my life) i ask this because red meat contains large amounts of iron that builds strong muscles

Ok..so as you know I'm about to be 15 in May and I am tall for my age. About 5'9 and 3 quarters. And I think I weigh around 160-165. Last year I remember being 140 and scared..now 160??!?! I'm now terrified if I become overweight like I was when I was little. I can't really go on diets..like I said 14..so my Mom basically knows everything I eat. I tried exercise classes with my Mom but I cannot keep up with all the dance movements and everything..I don't have good coordination. Should I start running on the treadmill in my basement? Should I stop taking seconds at dinner? Should I start walking before running? HELP!!!!!!

I don't want marks that look like craters on my face. Will the little sores and scabs ever clear up, are they repairable? I'm going to go see a dermotologist about it, but in the meanwhile, i'm concerned that the redmarks on my face that congealed are beyond acne cream and any other remedies.

I hate this hate this hate this.Im not a hypochondriac but its starting to make me feel like one.The doctors haven't written me off as one I suppose so they checked me out with all clear so they mark it down as depression..Well that all well and fine for them.But im stuck wondering whether or not im crazy or just fell into a black hole of disease and they have no clue.I grant you it started with being depressed but Im not depressed.The only thing im depressed about is not know what the heck im dealing with..I hear my pulse or what seems to be in my ears Ok..I can understand that its said to be benign loss of weight causing loss of padding..yeah maybe..Ok..Pain in different areas of the head .not excruciating but just there..at times.Arms and legs feel odd,this could be from laying around.Heart has a mind of its own beating fast when should be slow and slow when it should be fast..A multitude of symptoms dealing with facial sensations that are not numbness but just like dry skin ..

I was dating a guy for one year. I ended the relationship recently.

He had a problem with being honest, with himself (especially) and towards me. He would talk about the person he wanted to be but never made an attempt to change. He found refuge in other people's problems. He would dwell on things, for example... He would obsess for days about his sisters' private affairs. He would spend hours talking about other peoples problems but never his own. He hasn't worked for a year and lives with his best mates parents (he's 31 years old and has lived with them for two years). He prefered to spend time with his friends' child (6 years old) than be with me. He was detached whilst making love - he wanted to get it over and done with. He never understand when he hurt me, therefore he couldn't respond compassionately. He was basically empty. I want to support him as a friend. How do you tell someone (that you care for) that you think they may have mental health problems?

I got my bellybutton pierced about five days ago and my piercer recommended dial soap in the shower followed by a saline solution soak, and neosporin if I thought it might help. I've heard conflicting arguments about using saline versus sea salt and neosporin versus not using any ointments at all. From those of you with personal experiences, what should I do? Right now my piercing is very very red and sore. It's starting to puss, as I was told it would, but I can't help but wonder if I should try something else.

Could it also be the saline solution I have? I have a generic CVS brand, but i'm open to suggestions for other brand names. Thank you!

I have been having persistent pain on the right side of my body for at least a year. It starts at the base of my skull, and runs through my shoulder, down my right arm (my last three fingers are tingly), down the rest of my back, as well as the right side of my ribcage, through my hip and down my right leg. The pain is most severe in my neck, shoulder, and hip. I have had several tests run, and the doctor has yet to find out what is wrong.
