I have been having persistent pain on the right side of my body for at least a year. It starts at the base of my skull, and runs through my shoulder, down my right arm (my last three fingers are tingly), down the rest of my back, as well as the right side of my ribcage, through my hip and down my right leg. The pain is most severe in my neck, shoulder, and hip. I have had several tests run, and the doctor has yet to find out what is wrong.

Possibly a pinched nerve? Try going to WebMD.com. They have a symptoms section that may help.

Could be a pinched nerve, slipped disc or even muscle spasms in the neck or back causing this. Best thing to do is get to a Dr. so that he/she can eliminate some things and find out what exactly is wrong. Do not put this off, you will only be causing yourself unnecessary pain that can be controlled. Medication or surgery might be the answer. Hope you get to feeling better.
