I've been having problems with my period ever since I was 13 (I'm 18 now) where they would start and then I wouldnt have one for months after. About 6 months ago I was put on birth control to try to regulate my periods but sadly I'm one of those people that can't take birth control (it makes me very ill, plus I have IBS so it reacts with that).

So my question is, are there any other methods to regulate a period other than birth control?

I'm seeing my gyno next week but I know he's going to try to put me on birth control again so I'm trying to get around it anyway I can so I don't get sick.

My boyfriend popped it 2 days ago (it looked like a blackhead) because he always insists on popping my pimples even though I tell him not too. So anyway now its like this big huge red bump and it still hurts a lot. its really sore and my lip has been swollen. Why does it hurt so much? It hurts to touch or when I move my lip. HOW DO I MAKE IT HEAL? I'm like so upset because I don't want a scar. I'm embarrassed of going out in public because its so red. Oh yeah it had a scab and he picked it! Now its like open. PLEASE HELP!

I had sex on Nov. 3rd and right after my boyfriend and I had sex I felt sick and i thought i was going to vomit. well i have been feeling that way for a week now and I'm starting to wonder because my lower stomach is swollen and it makes growling noises when im not hungry. my boobs are tender, i have been getting really bad headaches, and my lower back aches. I also have cramps and im bleeding a little bit of brown stuff. I just got off my pills 3 days ago. Could it be the pills? I have one more question. I sprained my left ankle 10months ago. but it still hurts. I am in New York now. Can anyone recommend the right place I can get good treatment and the cost ? I want to have MRI examination too. I had a xray but the result was ok. But i went to acupunture and physiotherpay. but it is going for such a long time and i wanna get it fixed right away. Where is the Good place to go in New york?

My girlfriend left me her underwear after she left last night as a love momento. Well, like any guy, I picked them up and smelled them. But I noticed a weird residue right where her crotch goes. since last week, i've been overly emotional.. more so than normal! last night i was watching a program and i just started crying! then i went up to my room and cried uncontrollably. i feel irritable and get easily offended by the slightest comment made to me! also feel very hot and was sweating a lot last night! i'm usually the type that always gets cold, but now i can't tolerate the heat (i have my fan on right now) i'm 26... note: i was ovulating last week and my period is due in 2 weeks. i don't usually get pms this soon! what could be problem ps: i'm sexually active and practiced safe sex the last time i did it! my nipples are mildly tender also! what could be the problem?

For as long as I remember, I get spells of feeling tired and lethargic with aching all over. I am only 25 and in otherwise good health. I have lost motivation to exercise as I fell too tired after work, and constantly crave stachy foods. I am vegetarian and used to have a very varied, health diet. I have never watched what I eat and love food. I hvae put on a stone and a half in less than 2 years. I also had glandular fever when I was 16, and wonder whether this is related?

I had a really bad case of 'tinea' of the jock area (just beteen my anus and testes) and it had gone but it is now returning and it stings like hell, and I cant stop scratching it although the skin in badly damaged. Has anyone out there (esp guys) who have had severe jock itch before, and if so, what cures it? I've tried all the usual medicine like lamisil and daktarin and even some steroid cream from the doctor, but nothing helps! Help please, this is agony, and its embarrassing having to scratch your balls in public!
