Has anyone heard of the aspirin thing or does anyone know how to shorten the duration of your period or stop it all together. I'm going on a weekend trip with my husband and I started my period today. I am on Ortho Tri Cyclen but started a week early.

My dr prescribed this for me for depression. She didn't say anyting about me being bipolar. The dosage is 175mg i think or somewhere around that. I'm almost 18 and my mom doesn't want me to take it because of the harmful side effects. Does anyone have any information on the liver disease, pancreitis, or loss of blood platelets? and do you have to drink lots of water with it? also like what are the chances for these side effects and what is your expirience with taking it?

I have had two fainting spells in the last week. All tests (EKG, CAT scan, blood and urine) were normal. They are preceeded by overwhelming sleepiness. The doctor says that, on paper, I am the picture of health. Any ideas?

I had a crown put in by a dentist I have quit going to due to unprofessionalism and extreme turnover within the staff. I have found an excellent dentist I am very happy with. The crown keeps on coming loose-even the post came out!. I am not sure if I should go back to the dentist that put it in to fix it or keep paying my current dentist to re-glue it back into place. Has anyone else had a similar situation and what did you do?

I wouldn't call it an injury. But I was swimming a 800 yd swim when on about my 3rd to last lap my calf muscle and leg started to cramp like ******* hell!!!! I just wanted to ask why it does that, I know it deals with not having enough H2O and sodium. But why??

I have been dealing with a mentally ill child since the age of three. I am running out of ideas as to how to get her to cooperate. I want some new and unique things to try. I could google it but really I am looking for others who deal with this issue and can give me options that have worked for them. Can the dentist push in or out just one tooth without braces? The reason why I ask is because I have this one tooth that is really bugging me. It's one of my lower front teeth. Something is happening there, either a tooth is overlapping or one is further in, it's hard for me tell. Anyways, itt's right where my tongue rests. So my tongue feels it constantly and I start to push at it with my tongue, and sometimes I will even try to use my fingers to move it. I do this without even thinking, and try and stop when I realize it, but my tongue rests there and feels the tooth and I start to do it again.

I will be, of course, making an appointment with a dentist. I was just wondering what options might be used?

AGREE THAT HE NEEDS INTENSE THERAPY COMBINED WITH JOB TRAINING. SHE IS NOT AWARE OF A FACILITY IN GEORGIA THAT HOUSES THE MENTALLY ILL, EDUCATES THEM ABOUT THEIR ILLNESS, HAS CONTINUED INTENSE THERAPY,HELPS THEM RE-ENTER INTO SOCIETY, AND HAS JOB TRAINING. I need 4 poem that tells about nationalism. My teacher said in a poem there must be 4 stanza. 1 stanza - 4 lines she added. I'm 22 and since about a year ago, I've been having lower back pain that's been getting worst. I don't do sports and there was no injury to the area. It comes and goes but it's causing me more pain now and the pain is also in my legs. The pain is worst when I lie down at night and its a sharp pain radiating to a dull pain. The leg pain feels like nerve pain and it's been making my legs very weak and I have trouble walking at times. I also get this weird tingling sensation in my lower body and it makes my legs weak and knees buckle. I've been to several doctors and they told me it was muscle pain at first, told me to exercise, and gave me anti-inflammatory meds. None of that worked, and they are having xrays dones and my CT scan is schedule for monday. I'm pretty nervous, and the doctory said she does not know what it is without the test results and does not know what the problem could be. Anyone have similar experiences and can tell me what it was or any ideas what it could be?
