Can the dentist push in or out just one tooth without braces? The reason why I ask is because I have this one tooth that is really bugging me. It's one of my lower front teeth. Something is happening there, either a tooth is overlapping or one is further in, it's hard for me tell. Anyways, itt's right where my tongue rests. So my tongue feels it constantly and I start to push at it with my tongue, and sometimes I will even try to use my fingers to move it. I do this without even thinking, and try and stop when I realize it, but my tongue rests there and feels the tooth and I start to do it again.

I will be, of course, making an appointment with a dentist. I was just wondering what options might be used?

It's not at bed time when it bugs me the most. It's during the day. I'm not ruling out braces. However I still need a lot of work done to my teeth. I need 3 more wisdom teeth removed, and probbably another root canal. I am also getting a dental appliance for my sleep apnea, which I may not be able to use with braces.... and my sleep apnea is more important then having straight teeth.

i dont think you would be able to avoid braces but check with your dentist because he may be able to make you a palte that you can wear at bed time. good luck

first of all r u talking about impacted LOWER wisdom teeth?because that might be a major cause 4 that crowding..u have 2 remove them first then start thinkin about gettin ur tooth straighen as it might fix itself after removin them, and well u might not need any braces,u can just wear an active retainer..
