I wasn't born with poor eyesight. But recently eyesight became blurry (maybe because of alcohol consumption). Will wearing glasses help correct my eyesight?

I'm scared to death about having another one. In the past I have had that same dizziness, but it didn't go into a seizure. Obviously I have an appointment with a neurologist but I am way to nervous in the mean time. No family history Do you always get a warning first? Thanks.

I tried after the first two times to let her have a few sips of cold water, but she got sick about 10 minutes after that. So, I tried letting her eat 1 or 2 crackers and that made her sick too. Then I just thought I would hold off on giving her anything for a while but she still got sick. Any advice would be great. I am new to this. I don't have any children of my own, and am adopting her and her brother. I have never had a sick child before.

**I'm looking for answrs from health care people**

She's always been friendly and a little flirty. Last time I saw her, she mentioned her husband thinks she's a b|tch.

This time--she asks if I date. I say that I am not asexual. "Seeing anyone special," she asks. I could only grin wide and answer, "No." She became a little flustered and explained that doctors often neglect to obtain social history. She showed her hand, but I forgot to look for the ring.

She said she needed a book to read and asked me, knowing I hold an advanced degree. I recommended one and also ordered it at the local Borders under her name and work phone (she is not obligated to buy the book).

Today is Thursday; I plan to fax her a little info sheet on the author this Tuesday. She will know who ordered the book. Of course,she has my phone number.

She likes unique restuarants, I told her of a special one and she asked what to do if she sees me there. I said that meant she'd have to buy me breakfast

I know that there are a lot of questions in this category, I just need some help..

I am an ex-athlete that had a high metabolism when I was active...Now that I am a little older it has caught up to me. I am 5'11" and weight about 210 (more of a muscular build though) and need to get rid of the "spare tire". Runnig can be a chore for me because I blew out a knee and still have problems with it...

Mind you I do still like to go out and have an occasional drink, which I limit to Vodka and Soda water...I have cut out beer and wine and have cut out most breads from my diet...Where do I go from here.

he has VA insurance but they are being difficult and if he doesnt have the surgery in the next few weeks he will go blind. he has had a cornea transplant in his left eye 4 times now and it keeps rejecting it but he always had his right eye so he managed to get around but im afraid that he will go blind or it will reject in both eyes. He has been living with me for the past 9 years but i dont have the means of taking care of him if he completely goes blind. I guess my question is #1.. Is there any kind of help i can get him to pay for the surgery and #2. if he goes blind what can I do to help him. hes a young guy, only 59, i cant put him in a nursing home. and we live in the hicks so there really isnt any programs near by to help him. any advise would be greatly appreciated..
