It depends on several things. Whether a person is male or female and how much overweight they were before they started exercising.

It is safest to lose between 1 and 2.5 lbs per week. More means you might not be getting proper nutrients. Also, if you lose weight too quickly, much of it is likely just water weight and will just comeback to you.

However, if you haven't really exercised previously and you were exceedingly overweight, the early weightloss could reach 50 lbs, but, will decrease as your body adjusts to its new routine.

Fast weight loss is not very healthy in the long run. Be careful.

That is serious rapid weight loss. Just be careful, if you keep losing weight at this rate you could hurt yourself. Consult your doctor.

But...Congrats!!! I wish I could do something like that! But seriously...be careful of not doing too much too fast. Plus it will stay off longer if you lose it at a more moderate rate.

Wow, that's a lot of weight for just 4 months. Better would be 50lbs in one year.'

I did it, but I was running (outside).

If you didn't change anything I would be really worried. :)
