Yes, some bleed longer than others, depending on how easy it came out. Rinse a lot but not with too much force (gently).
Don't put so much pressure on it. Just let the gauze push a teeny bit harder than just lying there by itself.
Stop taking it off to see if it stopped bleeding you're reopening the freshly healing scab that was just made.

If you still have some of the gauze they gave you, take 3 of them and fold it a few times. Bite down on it with a lot of pressure an keep it in there for 45 minutes to an hour. Changing the gauze frequently will prevent you from forming a blood clot. If after an hour you still have "gushing" bite on a wet tea bag for 45 minutes. If that doesn't do it for you, call your dental office and let them know. The area will be bleed a little bit for 24-48 hours; it's very normal.

That pulled tooth is liable to bleed until tomorrow. Don't use a straw, or smoke for at least 24 hours. Keep the gauze packed in it like the surgeon told you to do. You'll be fine. If it's still bleeding tomorrow at this time, and I mean bleeding, then you might have to go back to the doc's office...good luck.

You need to make sure you are biting down on the gauze I'm sure they gave you until it completely stops bleeding. If you don't you could run the risk of getting dry socket and they say that this is very painful. Much worse than the pain of the initial tooth extraction.

Wet a tea bag and place it on the extraction site. Gently bite down and hold it for a while. The tannic acid in the tea will stop the bleeding. Doesn't taste good but its what the dentists advise you to do. I cheated and just drank alot if tea. It still worked.

I haven't had one pulled, but I imagine it's much deeper down than one you'd loose as a child. So I have never experienced that. But, I advise you swish with a salt water solution (be mindful not to swallow, you may vomit and stomach acid in a wound is not fun.) That should help. If the bleeding continues, as they say on every single medecine you can ingest, "Call a physician if your condition worsens."

when i got my wisdom teeth pulled it hurt like hell. just being honest. but ice cream helps the swelling. it is gonna bleed 3-5 days and it is normal.... it is best if you press down on your gauze time to time. it releases pressure and helps your gums bleed out...

It can bleed for a few hours, but check with your dentist because they'll have an idea specifically. . .They usually give you some sort of flyer about what to expect and what to do, etc.

That's totally normal. The reason is that your saliva makes it hard for your blood to clot up and stop the bleeding. It'll stop soon, and don't worry, it won't bleed out.
