First of, getting rid of postpartum tummy flab is the same as getting rid of tummy flab when not pregnant. Exercise and eat right- try to eat at least six meals a day(smaller ones, but u'll have more energy to keep up with your baby that way), choose healthier food options at each meal so as to consume less calories than during pregnancy, and lastly exercise well- walk, jog, whatever suits ur lifestyle. Second, about those stretch marks, chances are that you can't get rid of them, but there might be ways you can make them less prominent.
Follow the link for some options.

Regardless of what anyone says, they're heredity !!!! If you used the cocoa butter while you're pregnant and it didn't help, then sorry hun, your stuck. They probably will fade in time. And, regardless if you get pregnant or not you can still get stretch marks, for those other remarks about "if you were so worried about stretch marks then you shouldn't have been pregnant", Your human, at that your a woman....badge of motherhood or not, they're ugly. who would want them. I used cocoa butter oil with my son, and I didn't get any stretch marks with him, my stomach went flat as can be 3 days after birth, in fact if I din't have my son with me you couldn't even tell I had a child. But I think also it's because I didn't allow myself to grow so fast so quick.......What I mean is they say the last three months is when your stomach grows the fastest..when your skin stretches at a rapid pace not giving it time to stretch right it causes stretch marks. I ate enough every meal to be satisfied since its best to eat small meals while your pregnant anyways. Even if I could eat more, I didn't. So I gained weight evenly and I gained 29 lbs. my whole pregnancy. Ok, I know this may not seem a lot of sense and is so off the subject now. But I swear that's why i didn't get stretch marks on my stomach while I got pregnant.. And, I do get them. I got stretch marks on the side of my butt and on my side, and I gained all of them after my son. or before him. (the one on my side I am gaining this pregnancy, because lets just say I'm hormonal and bitchy (I'm carrying a girl) and although I do care , I kinda just let myself go this pregnancy, because I was already gaining weight before this pregnancy so I know techniques to hide fat and how to make it seem I have my body in control. As for toning and flab, a little tight pants and a bigger shirt can hide all that, hey I'm a mother of gonna be two, I don't care to much about tight clothes anymore or showing my stomach, whatever is comfortable and still looks good. Anyways, Congrats on the new baby and there may not be anything to get rid of them, but my friend did toning exercises and it made them look less horrible.

If you simply have a little extra tummy then you just need to exercise. I recommend doing pilates....it is low impact and you can get videos that focus on various areas of the body depending on what you want to firm up....stomach crunches are good....if you are coordinated Taebo is excellent but I tried it and I looked like I was doing the funky chicken.....My problem isn't fat...I have had five kids and I have loose skin. I need plastic surgery to have a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin....I have lost 50 lbs and the nasty skin is still there and looks very unsightly....

As for your stretch marks I really sympathize. I have them on my upper thighs, stomach, hips, and breasts....they are very prominent. I have heard that they are due largely to genetics. There are over the counter remedies out there but I have never heard of any of them actually being effective. I don't think there is really any method that has been developed as of yet that really eliminates them, however a dermatologist may be able to recommend something to lighten them.....

The very best way to reduce your tummy is to walk. Take your baby in the stroller and just walk everywhere, especially in the park and try to do it every day. The color of the stretch marks will fade over time, but you cannot completely get rid of them because that is like a scar. But the more weight you lose and the flatter your tummy gets the less you will be able to notice them.

Have a foot massage every night for 15 or so minutes each. Foot reflexology works best and ensures proper function of physiology. Stretch marks are hormonal at least that's what my wife's doc told her.

i've had 3 kids and still have the same prob. the thing is you cant get rid of lose skin by exercising. if the skin is that loose then it would require surgery. but do abdominal exercises to melt the fat under the tummy and try to tone that area up. i've been doing various abdominal exercises and my tummy is well on its way to being toned and in shape! hey, it took 9 months putting the weight on, dont rush.
