numb sensation from just below knee to just above ankle. walking , massaging , resting or bathing neither irritate or improve this.have recently started new job and am on my feet for 9 or 10 hours every day. problem never occured before.

What things can I do to help myself quit smoking apart from the patches and stuff? Has anyone got any tips on how they gave up? I'm 26 and have smoked for about 10 years. Thanks. Any help would be much appreciated, no silly answers please.

I have one swoleen lymph node in my neck. It doesn't hurt, its just bigger then normal. I know that lymph nodes are a sign of infection but I'm not sick, no sore throat or ear aches etc. I sometimes feel a bit tired but that's it. Also i get these drenching night sweats. Not really a temprature, just a low grade fever sometimes. I've had these symptoms for 3 weeks or so. Im 16 years old. I feel pretty good besides this stuff that is going on. Im going to the doctor soon i think. So if you guys have any idea on what it is let me know. I would have gone to the doctor sooner but I can only miss 5 days of school, and its hard to get an appt in the afternoon.

I had a big secret , that I kept inside for five years. Then when I let it out, I realized it was not my fault and instantly I felt free and my stomic hasnt been hurting.

I've been trying to concentrate for maybe 2 hours now but I just can't. I feel as if homework is pointless and I'd rather fall in a pit and lay there for who knows how long than do my homework. The worst part is that the homework isn't even anything too difficult nor is there that much. Maybe 2 hours if I can concentrate, 3 hours tops. Please help!

ok i got scared and thought i had a bug bite but i have a clean house 'n all im serious but got some sort of lip bit it didnt swell but i can see those two little holes on my lip where the bug might have stuck its teeth also i got this bit on back thigh and it was cicular and it swelled it was about .5 to.75 in ches long but at the end of the day it shrunk to the size where i couldnt find it is this a bed bug or some other bug i dont need to worry about also i checked the sides of my mattresswhere bed bugs might hide and found nothing

1 Turkey Burger on wheat in veg oil with 2 slices of low fat cheese.
1/2 piece of wheat bread with jelly

I have MAJOR cramps and heavy heavy bleeding the first few days of my period. The pain is so bad I ask to stay home from school. It's genetic, by the way.

My mother is saying that I should consider going to the gynocologist to see if I could get birth control pills so I wouldn't have such miserable times every month. I'm quite willing to do this, seeing as 1 hour in the doctors office could save me days of pain. (And my undergarments.)

I know that the most feared thing by most first timers is the pelvic exam. I want to know what to expect- the whole visit- and what kind of questions I will need to answer, so something I take to be traumatic could be a little less embarrassing.

Please help!

My mom recently died. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer three years ago. The cancer had metasticized to her bones and she had a few spots on them. She was getting radiation treatment (in the beginning) and chemo until last may when her doc switched her to hormone shots and she got her first shots in June. Things seemed ok until last May/Junish. Around that time she started to lose weight and get weaker. In July she found out that the shots were not working and that it may have spread to her liver.

Well, in Aug, she started to deteriorate very quickly (dehydration, diarrhea, fluid build up, fatigue, loss of appetite, infection. etc.) Everything happened so fast that it really took my family by surprise.

She was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago and they took a biopsy of her liver, checked on her abdominal pain (they removed 2 lites of fluid) and looked at her intestines. She never woke up after surgery and we were told that she died of sepsis.
