Ham is not red meat, but it is very salty which in most diets they advise you to avoid too much of.

Yes, only eat meat that are chicken or fish they're not red meat and are healthy for you. For chicken just take off the skin, if you want less fat in your meals. (turkey is still consider red meat).

Ham is considered pork, and pork is made out of pig. And I guess I don't have to tell you that eating pig is tantamount to eating swine.

I don't know what diet you're on, but diet or no diet, I would strongly caution you against eating the flesh of swine.

And if you ever go anywhere where pork is being served tell them politely that pork is made out of pig.

And no I'm not a Jew, but what does that have to do with it anyway. No one can ever deny that pork is made out of pig/swine, no matter what their nationality is.
