Iam a 19 year old female who has always had lumpy breast, should i be concernced about have breast cancer now, also should i have the lumps removed so that when i get older there wil be no confusion?

If the blood is blue and you draw blood sample from veins or arteries....exactly how much oxygen in ratio to the amount of blood for it to turn red? Seems to me, Ive drawn blood before and there doesnt appear to be much oxygen involved in the process.

I've always had a light perioid, so i never really felt the need to use a tampon, but now i have to go on vaction and I DONT want to wear a pantie liner. would inserting a tampon be painful? i know this is terrible but will it hurt?I've never had anything "up there" before.

I had a CT scan about 28 hours ago, and they said it was almost int he bladder but was 3/4 of a centimeter. I'm kina afraid it can get stuck. Any way to prevent it? Never had a kidney stone before. It doesnt hurt near as much but there is pressure now.

For the past 6 months I have had increasingly more difficulty swallowing food. It started off as just some discomfort as the food went down, and would go away as soon as I washed it down with water. In the last 2 months however it has become dangerously serious. I have choked on 3 different occasions, and one of the times was near passing out from lack of oxygen before a stranger was able to clear my airway with the heimlich maneuver. The only way I can eat without problems now is by drinking something everytime I swallow, taking very small bites, and chewing my food as much as possible before swallowing. I have a Doctors appointment in a couple days but was hoping that maybe someone might have an idea of what this could be.

I mean its sooooo gross! If I'm interested in someone and I find out that they smoke I don’t care how good they look or how funny they are I am not getting involved with smoker. Smoking makes your breath stink really bad no matter what you do, and it makes your teeth yellow! Not only that but when you kiss a smoker it tastes like ****! I mean with all the advertising how smoking causes cancer and all of the shifty practices by big tobacco.. why would anyone even think about starting to smoke?

My dad is having emergency surgery. He went in for a stress test, and they have since relocated him from a REALLY GOOD hospital to one of the best in the country. Aparently its a 6part bypass.. I just don't really understand it all..and Id love to know expereinces, what to expect, etc. Please, Serious answers only. Im so scared and I don't know what to do. Im flying to see him tomorrow morning -- earliest flight i could get. Please answer if you have experience, etc. thanks!! Hi, My wife has the above symptoms. She didn't want to post anything but I figure.. hey.. nothing too lose at this point.

O.k. She has had a good work up from her Dr. and Coronary Specialist. Thallium test(spelling?), Cornary CTA and so far negitive from any obvious symptoms, EKG'S. Cholesterol is good etc.. all looks good. Not much stress in her life right now and only works part time.

She doesn't have pain when she exercises (fast walking).. just when she relax's ... not every time.. just once in awhile. The pain in the jaw left arm etc.. so I have too be concerned.. besides... yea... *here it comes... no snuggly in the bed while she is having problems so it is better for all of us...( that means me)... that we get this resolved so I am looking for any thoughts that you may have that we can research.

We are learning as we go and just trying to gather info. so we can make better decisions about future treatment decisions.

I've heard of oxygen helping get rid of these headaches, but can breathing oxygen also trigger one?
I fainted in the doctors office when they were taking my blood and they gave me an oxygen mask for a few minutes. Almost immediately when they took off the mask, I got the worst headache I've ever had in my life. It was like someone was stabbing me with a knife in my eye and temple on the right side of my head. It was so excruciating and unbearable, I thought something was seriously wrong, like a brain hemorrhage. It was really frightening. Then it went away after about 20 minutes or so.
Could it have been linked to the oxygen?

6weeks ago i got my ears pierced and today I was allowed to remove the studs. While removing them I felt a lump in my ear where the hole is not to mention it leaked a clear fluid. I'm not sure if it's swelling or some normal effect of newly pierced ears. Help!

I have a very interesting looking set of dry, a little darker toned patches of skin on my leg. It doesn't itch, but if I scratch it, it seems a little bit tender, but doesn't really hurt. It's like maybe light pinkish maybe at darkest. I have had it for a while. Anyone know what it might be?
