I have bronchitis and severe chronic asthma. I used to get a lot of lung infections and because I have asthma, I would end up in ER/ICU several times a month. I'm a lot better now. I get my annual flu shot and have to admit, I haven't gotten any lung infection for nearly 3 years. I started to do a lot of (ice hockey) skating and when my endurance level increased, the lung infections decreased. All the skating that I did (3hrs/day, 3x/week), had increased my lung capacity. I'm still weary when the flu season starts and do my best to stay away from those who are sick. If I feel like I'm starting to come down with something, I just pick up the phone and call my doctor. It's not fun having lung infections, bronchitis or any respiratory disease. Hang in there and you'll be good as new soon! Just listen to your doctor! :)

My daughter and I both suffer from bronchitis frequently throughout the year. We also both suffer from asthma. I hope you feel better soon! :)
