I'm getting married in 3 weeks. According to the calendar I'm going to be on my period the day of my wedding. And I'm always regular. Is there anything I can do to prervent this from happening...besides getting pregnant?

The pain comes and goes. It was usually quick like a lightening bolt...but recently it has lasted longer...I checked out apendicitus and other things...but I have no other symptoms...just random pain especially when I lay down or sit up. Can anyone clarify?

My hair is thick, curly, makes ringlets & is shoulder length. The problem is it's quite frizzy, I condition it & have tried serums (frizz-ease & fructus) but to no avail, they just make it feel greasy. I'm looking for a product I can leave on my hair to separate the ringlets & de-frizz it without it looking wet? Must be a product I can get in the UK. Any ideas?

I am having trouble clipping my mom's toenails and she will not see a doctor. I think she has a fungus because her toenails are thick and rigidy and discolored. I have tried over-the-counter remedies but they have not helped yet. She is 76 and will not see a physician for this problem. Does anyone have a home remedy that works?

My stepson is in the 4th month of a methadone program. I just realized that once again he is using pain killers&, other drugs. Do they normally test at these programs? What should I do? How should i convince my mom to stay out of the room when i am having a physical exam. Also, how can i tell her i want a male doctor. I feel uncomfortable when she checks me, especially my penis, which my mom sees because the doctor takes off my underwear. I want a male doctor because it would be more comfortable and i could talk to him easier and things i want to talk about not in front of my mom, like anything about my penis or puberty. I feel embarrassed when my mom comes in.

There is a lady I know with a young child with autism. The child was developing normally, until he received his two year shots. You know the series of shots that all two year olds receive. Mercury (small amounts)was used as preservative for vaccines at this time. Mercury poisoning has the same symptoms as autism so could this be the cause for his longterm symptoms? They have taken the shot off the market now and sent it to third world countries for malnuritioned children. This is awful huh? Well I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about other claims or accusations as hers. Could this be poisoning and not autism if a child's immune system is not fully developed before the series of shots? Is our government really that irresponsible?

I don't like to ask a boring question, but I get bruises a lot on my arms and legs, and some of them are unexplained, like I didn't bump the bruised area, etc. (PS- and I don't drink, so blaming it on black outs or forgetting is not an answer.)

Well During last month I got a urine test and the doctor found out I have a urinary tract infection, I think it was minor because she gave me 6 pills and taking twice a day for 3 days only, I took all the pills. I have been drinking lots of water, and it depends sometimes it turns out Clear, Straw-like yellow. But yesterday I only Drank 3 full cups of water and also a fruit juice called "Fuze" and I urinated dark yellow. This morning I only drank milk first and then 1 cup of water. my urine was dark yellow also, but the second time I had urine today it was dark yellow and cloudy. Do you think I should get checked again? or try to drink more water to see if it happens again? I'm scared I have the infection again or even worse, hepatitis. I don't have blood in my urine, but I know its also normal to have clear urine if you have been drinking lots of water. Between the end of march and April I took a blood sample too, and found nothing that is a diease

just a couple of minutes ago i was playing with my puppy on the floor and she bit my brother when he wasn't looking and he turned around and accedentially hit my mouth with his elbow, and then i felt my tooth and little peices of white were falling off my tooth and i looked in a mirror and the tooth is a little slanted (u can barely notice) but it kinda hurts and sometimes these little peices of white fall on my mouth and i'm kinda scared, am i just overreacting? my parents are out at the store and it just me and my brother he isn't worried cuz, im not bleeding, but im kinda worried... what should i do?

My piercer is out of town for a few weeks and I have no clue what to do. I had my lip pierced 3 months ago, and like all new piercings for a couple of weeks it was red and swollen. After that it healed and it was nice and clean and clear. For the past 3 weeks it's been red and crusty, and the skin around the hole is scaly, and some days it hurts, some days not, and goopy light green/yellow stuff has been coming out of it *pus*. A few times there was blood but that is just an on and off thing. I've been cleaning it with the sea salt soak they listed in the piercing care guide they gave me, and that seems to work for like 10 minutes then it's back to being crusty. I am assuming my piercing is infected; what can I do to make it go away or should I go to a professional and have them take it out or just let it be? Also right above my lip where it was pierced it's sort of numb (not tingly, just numb). Why is that?
