I used to use Downey fabric softner, it worked great and did not make me sneeze as hair care products sometimes do. I got this idea from an American Indian actor. His hair was a lot thicker than mine though.

For the past seven months I have used Paul mitchell's Super Skinny Serum. It's awesome. after I wash my hair I put one pump in my hair. When I blow dry or air dry and then flat iron it literally leaves my hair looking and feeling silky. You only have to use it after you wash your hair. You dont ahve to use it every morning. That is all that I put in my hair next to shampoo and conditioner. This product does not leave your hair greasy nor frizzy nor dry. You don't even have to use hair spray to hold it in place. I mean once the breeze blows your fair it automatically drops back into place. This gay guy recommended that I try it and I've never turned back to all the other junk that i used it use. It's $15 dollars a bottle and can be found mainly in hair salons that are in the mall.

Do you have Aussie shampoo? It is great for all hair and is not damaging.
Baby shampoo is designed for babies fine hair so you need to change your shampoo.
Sun silk shampoos are good and also Laurel do great hair treatments and daily shampoos.
Also having a good cut will help. I often get my hair dresser to thin our my hair as i have thick hair too. It is easier to manage. Layers cut in will also help and make it more manageable.

Be grateful as It's protecting your braincells. .. It might be costly but get it shaped and thinned out by a professional hairdresser who'll also advise you on how to treat it and which shampoo/conditioner to use
