How should i convince my mom to stay out of the room when i am having a physical exam. Also, how can i tell her i want a male doctor. I feel uncomfortable when she checks me, especially my penis, which my mom sees because the doctor takes off my underwear. I want a male doctor because it would be more comfortable and i could talk to him easier and things i want to talk about not in front of my mom, like anything about my penis or puberty. I feel embarrassed when my mom comes in.

You need to be clear and too the point with your mother.
You need to tell her that you feel uncomfortable with her being in the room whilst the doctor gives you your physical exam, and you have your penis been checked. I would also tell her that you do not want a female doctor being there as you do not like it and will not be having the physical exam unless you can see a male doctor and she stays outside the room.
Just try and be honest with her not rude, but get your point over. You will probley find she is just worrying about you and finds it hard to let go a little.

just tell your mum straight. tell her you have grown up and you do not want her to see your penis. and also tell her you want to get a male doctor. if she refuse, just tell her, if now you are to go for a check, and i am in the room, how will you feel if i look at your vagina. and if a male doctor checks you, will you feel embarrass.... jus say that a male doctor will make you feel more comfortable. tell her to get out of the room too cause you don't want her to see your penis. also tell her if she wants to see a penis, don't look at yours, go home and have sex with your dad and see his

Tell her your penis is yours alone! You only wish to show it when you are comfortable!!! I suggest you tell her this in front of whichever doctor you see.....the doctor will get the point. If not I suggest you contact child services. If you are over 18 you need to get a life!

I didn't think female doctors were allowed to perform exams like those on male children. I certainly wouldn't expect male doctors to perform private exams on female children unless it was an emergency! Just tell your mom that you aren't comfortable with her or the female doctor watching. Better yet, tell your dad or get him to bring you. Good luck!

talk to your dad. if he is not around then tell your mom straight out that you are uncomfortable with her around and you want a male doctor. you could also talk to your school counselor and enlist their help.

tell her to give you pravcy becasue you are older and needs that. parents have to let go and it is time for her to let go. talk to the doctor and the doctor will tell her. i guese you are a mama boy . i myself prefer a male doctor and it is one of the reasons i always fight with my mom every time she ask me to go to the hosiptal for cheack up.
