That depends on whether you are eating healthy and getting enough vitamins, as well as carbs and proteins. It is possible, regardless what the ignorant and uneducated think, to drink too much water - you can throw off your electrolytes or end up with too much water in the interstitial spaces and that can lead to CHF.
You should probably back off a little bit if you're drinking 2 gallons or water a day - it sounds like you're doing it to just have something in your mouth, and not because you're actually thirsty.

I always heard eight glasses of water, but recently it has been noted that, that amount is not necessary because there is water in cool-aid, soda, beer and milk. So I would think four glasses of water a day, if you get tired of water, drink something else, the water will add up.

Anything in excess is not healthy. If you feel you are constantly thirsty, you should speak with a doctor, there are some chemical imbalances that could make you feel thirsty even when your body doesn't need water. 64 ounces a day is the recommended, that's less than 2 liters.

It really depends upon how active you are, how much food you eat and how fast you drink the water. Water intoxication can occur if you dilute the necessary electrolytes in your blood. Initial symptoms of water intoxication are light-headedness, sometimes accompanied by nausea, vomiting, headache and/or malaise. This only occurs in rare situations, however. You are probably just assuring that you pee alot!

You really can't drink too much water. Now, if it causes your stool to be runny for example, you should probably cut back. But it is very healthy to drink water during the day, so drink up!

A 'SET' amount of Water-intake is
a MISNOMER .
It entirely depends on one's ACTIVITIES
during A DAY , AND whether it is SUMMER
or WINTER .
Water WONT hurt you , but COULD keep
you BUSY . if you know wot I mean ....
