i was informed that i had a fibroid tumor in my uterus and that its the size of a 12wk preg. but the only symptoms i have are pain in lower ab. ,pain in lower back and tailbone, and pain in my legs , my periods seem to be reg. and i do bleed a lil heavy when i get them and i some times pass clots the first 2 days . i dont bleed inbetween my periods either at last not yet thank god , i do feel pressure on my pelvic bone , and it has a burning feeling, my breast seem to be hurting and my nipples are burning exspecially when touched . is that normal for having a fibroid tumor? anyways my gyn. told me that i needed a hysterectomy too and well i dotn want to lose my uterus but if ness. i will go , but i am looking into geting that ufe prcedure . the only thing that alarms me is that my doc only did a pelvic exam and didnt go any further to make sure that is what i had and told me that i needed surgry , i find that a bit wierd and scary !if any1 can help pls email @ lilnikki_xo27xo@yahoo.com

Dr. says its because of my anxiety,blood pressure either goes up and pulse goes down,or pulse goes down, and pressure goes p,seems it does this after taking my xanax,anyways he gave me Flexaril for my musle pain,and told me to start Buspar.Turned me into a ZOmbie,This morning i woke up feeling way worse dizzy/I am NOT taking the Buspar or Flexaril anymore.Any ideas why my blood presurre is doing what its doing> The Dr. said he has run all the tests he is going to on me,thats they have all been fine,and its my anxiety causing it all.All Can I stop it.Im so dizzy all the time Im getting house bound

I have been offered lap-banding as a long term solution to my obesity. I want to know about experiences of this procedure from a patient's perspective. I am not interested in opinions as to the rights and wrongs of obesity surgery, nor do i wish to hear from those who wish to ridicule the overweight. I have a very serious life-decision to make and would welcome input from those who know about it from their own encounters with this type of intervention.

I have been always over weight. I am working very hard to lose the weight to become more healthy and of course attractive to guys. I have never had anything like this before. These lumps are about 2cm width and dome shaped, they do not itch and are not weepy, at least not at the moment. I am a fit person, who does not fall ill easily so this is quite disturbing for me. I'm hoping someone knows of this and can tell me what this could be and hopefully what i can do about it. I have allergies to various plants that come and go with no warning. I know that, since I am allergic to daisies, I shouldn't use echinacea (not sure if I spelled that right -- extract of purple coneflower, anyway) and ought to be careful with chamomile. When I was a child, my mother tried to 'cure' my hayfever by having me eat honey, and I almost died, so I'm more than a little worried about having another allergic reaction to herbal suppliments or natural treatments for illness, etc. However, I have some health problems that 'traditional' medicine doesn't offer an effective treatment for, and I'd like to at least explore some other options. Should I stay away from herbal remedies and look for something else?

(I'd really appreciate it if replies are NOT someone just trying to sell me something. I'm looking for answers, not advertisments.)

Despite prevention (two showers/day, peeing, drinking water and cranberry juice and only a few sodas) I have a reccurrent UTI caused by Staph. It's been coming back for about six months now, and it is back again. Should I go to hospital? Or wait til Tues and try to just call a Doctor. Can this cause any other compications or symptoms?

I'm 31 and have always been quiet. I find it difficult to sustain a conversation and am uncomfortable around new people. A girl has just split with me after a couple of dates and I think this was one of the main factors. I've also just started a new job and am finding it difficult to relax and chat with new colleagues,and feel like they think I'm a weirdo. Even my friends seem to tolerate my company.
At the moment I also seem to wake up early often and just generally don't feel enthusiastic. Can anyone help me? I'd rather not go down the road of medication.
