Despite prevention (two showers/day, peeing, drinking water and cranberry juice and only a few sodas) I have a reccurrent UTI caused by Staph. It's been coming back for about six months now, and it is back again. Should I go to hospital? Or wait til Tues and try to just call a Doctor. Can this cause any other compications or symptoms?

Thanks for the answers so far. I know that the preventive measures cannot cure them once I have one. But in my case they do not seem to preventing recurrances either. My only doctor is the one on campus and he told me not to go back there because he has put me on too many antibiotics. On Tuesday I would be able to try to find another doctor in town. (GAH that sounds rambly..sorry!)

Having calmed down a bit, a better explanation. I've been going to the campus doctor for six months with a UTI. This past time he did a culture, diagnosed it with staph and changed my antibiotics. He said not to come back if it didn't work cause there was nothing else he could do. So. Do I go to the hospital or wait til Tuesday to find a new doctor?
