I have a sort of moment of anxiety when the phone rings & I have to decide whether to answer it, a deja vu moment when I think I know who is calling & either find out I'm right or be so shocked because I couldn't have predicted who was on the other end of the line if my life depended on it. As I reach for the phone I wonder would I be happier if I didn't answer this call?

So I guess I'm looking for extreme good and bad answering phone experiences. :D
And don't bother commenting on telemarketers unless it's a particularly good/unusual story. I'm with BunBun (from Sluggy Freelance) on the whole telemarketer affair.

I admit, I'm a bit on the fat side and am lazy. I try doing sit ups and push ups but they are just too hard for me. Should I keep working on them till I get better, or should I try some easier exercises then move up to sit ups and etc...? And what are some good exercises for people like me? Thanks!

Did someone like a friend ever forced you to eat a big bag of chips and you forgot to say no thanks I am stuffed I can't eat anymore.
I have a former friend who told me to buy a bag of chips by myself at Safeway and told me she rather stay home and go on the computer than go with me to the grocery store to buy the chips together.

We recently spent a week out of state visiting a couple out of state with whom my husband has been friends for over 20 years. They're like "family" to each other. I had never met the wife before. When we arrived and when we left (4 days later) my husband and the other wife kissed on the lips. (When we left, they actually kissed twice - the second one appearing to be very tender) I felt very uncomfortable with this and am having trouble knowing how to deal with it. It just seems like extraordinarly intimate behavior to me. Is it just me or is this unusual and inappropriate? (FYI - we are both in our 50s)

Why do people come on to the STD board and just make fun of people as an answer saying "Eww your nasty" or "Use a Condom you idiot"?
Why cant people just keep their stupid opinions to themselves! We are all on here to get information on STD's because oviously it is not something people just walk around talking about freely.

Well when I was younger I use to cut my wrist. Everytime I did it, it wouldn't hurt as much. I use to cut myself when I'm about to cry or when I'm angry or mad. Now that I'm starting to stress more often....is it possible I might start that bad habbit again?

i am a 20 yrs girl and i dont seem to be my getting periods regularly since i was 15
