Pediasure is low lactose and high calorie. It can be used for a child of any age who is not eating well due to illness.

it wont hurt her.
i have used it off and on to supplement my daughter's diet. she is a bit small for her age and i thought it might help her to gain weight. and i am sure that if you were consistent enough with it, that would be the outcome.

Ask your doctor. He will probably send you to a nutritionist. There are other supplements out there like "Boost" and "Ensure".
