Why do people come on to the STD board and just make fun of people as an answer saying "Eww your nasty" or "Use a Condom you idiot"?
Why cant people just keep their stupid opinions to themselves! We are all on here to get information on STD's because oviously it is not something people just walk around talking about freely.

Yeah, that really bothers me. People come on here to ask genuine questions and want decent answers not "eww you're gross". The person asking the question more than likely already feels bad enough having the STD and then getting mocked on here or insulted makes them feel even worse.

When I see answers like that I report them for not answering the question. If they take the time to waste that persons time by answering "eww gross" then I take the time to report them.

Some people don't understand that some people are born with STDs. Some people are stupid enough to believe that condoms are the cure for everything. It doesn't stop herpes, crabs, and in some cases AIDS (which is half the size of the holes in a condom... so it can get through). These people make fun because they think that they are safe. They will get a harsh reality check soon.

The answer is those people are very immature and are not capable of talking about something serious. They are unable to talk maturely about subjects. They are young and dumb. They will probably be the ones that end up with an STD.

Some people get a sick thrill out of making people who have STD's feel worse. It's cold and heartless, but consider the world that we live in.

Christians seem to be heavily criticized to.

I can't apologize for other people. But if I have answered any of your questions and you felt insulted by them; then I am truely sorry.

I hope you see brighter days ahead!

Some people are oblivious and simply uncaring. They don't have an STD so they have nothing useful to say.

Unfortunately, STD's are an uncomfortable topic because people are afraid that they will be judged because of the way that the disease is passed from person to person...

We all make mistakes but some of us make them too often to ignore... we need to educate, not blame eachother...

I knew a guy who refused to have safe sex, claiming that he could not get HIV because he was full-blooded German and he believed that Hitler created HIV to kill off gay and black people but designed it in a way that Germans would not be susceptible to it...

Guess what happened to him?

This is why we need education and need to stop blaming people for the very natural things they do... no one should be embarrassed to admit that they are human and have had sex for fun or to get attention from a lover or to avoid lonliness or to "blow off some steam".
These are not the best way to go about sex but they are things that people do anyway... we need to to be able to discuss alternatives.

It is improper to make fun of a sick person. All he needs is proper attention to his medical problem in most sobering way. STD is an illness and it should be treated as that. Nothing more.
