how do you build up ur endurance?

My husband was in the hospital- he's 27- and a few days following, he was diagnosed with an upper extremity dvt. he did receive iv therapy (Kcl + antibiotics). the nurse had dislodged his iv cath, allowed it to infiltrate, and now he has this condition. He has no underlying hypercoagulatory conditions, and has no other predisposing factors.

I dieted too extreme, lost lots of weight and was very comfortable and kept it off for 5 years. Then got pregnant and gained weight back, not a lot but need to lose about 20 lbs. However, my body is still in "starvation" mode because I don't eat a lot yet but seem to keep the weight. Any ideas?

I noticed that when I go to the dentist if I get more than one shot per visit I start to feel awful like a passing out type of feeling and weakness and just abnormal feeling. But when I only get one shot I do just fine, no problem. Is this normal? Does it have anything to do with body weight. I"m currently about 95 pounds. I need to have a root canal done soon but I'm worried I can't handle too much anesthetic shots. Won't there be many shots for a root canal procedure? Especially since I use carbocaine it wears off very fast. I don't use the shots with epinephrine because they cause pounding heart.

i just got a palate expander yesterday and today was the first day of school so i had major problems trying to talk normal. i get to stop turning it in 6 days(one week total from the start). i go back like 3 days after i stop turning it. will i be able to get this out then? cause i bloody hate it! and no the ortho dint tell me how long i would be wearing it.

When I was watching a movie with my friends, there was a part near the end when one of the characters started drooling, and was jerking his head, and in the end he toppled over in his seat and vomited. One of my friends said that he was suffering a stroke, but I thought stroke involved paralyisis. Can drooling and weird movements of the face and head be a sign of mild or severe storke?

they said they'd do 41/2 weeks of chemo and radiation then she would have to stay in the hospital for 2-3 days so they could put sum metal thing in her so the radiation could directly hit the tumor. any one have any insight about cervical cancer? im worried

I've been playing football for almost 5 years now and now i was thinkiing about quiting. I mean playin football till like almost 8 o clock (we start at 4 i think) at night is friggin rediculous dont you think? Well i dont think the coaches are gonna do that anymore cuz our practice today was like 3 hours. I wanna quit but i feel like im gonna regret it when im older you know? Well actually i really dont know if i want to quit or not. Its really wierd but idk if i want to stay in football or not i really dont know what to do someone help me? My mom said that i could quit now and play again when im a senior what do you think?
