WHy is it that everybody thinks its impossible to loose 20-30 pounds in a month?my brother did and kept the weight off,why cant i try?I weigh a 152 pounds at "5'4" and im only 13!!!!!!

Are you are someone else you know of having problems with infertility? I've written a novel in which my characters (Three Couples) are having problems conceiving, for various reasons. I've written the book so that couples who are having problems will not only enjoy a good read. But my hope is that the book will give hope and inspiration to those strggling with infertility. You'll be surprised at how many couples have problems having children. Most times we don't know they are having problems because it isn't something most people talk about. But just think about your friends who don't have children. Many times it isn't because they don't want any. Many times it is because they can't. I'm curious to know what you think. I'm in the process of having publisher's review my manuscript. I'd love the feed back!

i am out of my medication and am waiting for my mail order to get here. but Aetna takes weeks and my bp is 150/90. i have a headache and can see weird zigzag things out of the corner of my right eye. i dont want to/cant go to ER, so please dont suggest that. any suggestions to lower the bp that i can do now besides laying on my left side or sitting quietly? and please no smart answers like lose weight. i am 115 pounds.

1. This is no exaggeration. I brush twice a day, I floss once a day and I rinse with listerine in the morning.....but I have a tooth ache. Its a tooth that I got a root canal on about 4 years ago. Before I started taking such good care of my teeth. What's the deal? I take great care of my teeth. I have been for the past 3 years.

2. I have no dental plan. Before I was in the military and it was free. Does anyone know any good dental plans? I'm a full time student living off the GI bill and a minimum wage job. So I have a fairly low income.

I do not have tonsils. BUt for the past few days, i have had a feeling in my mouth and throat like when you drink something really hot and scald yourself-not really painful, but unpleasant. I also have a slightly metallic taste in my mouth, and small bumps in my throat. My throat is not really red, just regular pink, and the bumps are not white or yellow. I DO NOT have health insurnace, and don't want to go to the dr unless absolutley neccesary. Does anyone have any idea if this is strep, and if not, what might it be?

I have been having an aching pain in my lower abdomen and lower back. It's been going on for about a week. It seems to be getting worse. It's almost unbearable to bend over or to stand up. Yesterday I got a shooting pain in my abdomen for a few minutes.
Now here's the deal. I have no medical insurance and have been to the county health department before with such a problem (but not nearly as severe) and they can't seem to help. I already know I need to see a doctor, please don't tell me that but where can I go. I'm unemployed and only get $340 per month which hardly covers my bills. I am not eligible for medicaid. I have applied and been denied 5 times.

Also not to sound disgusting but my bf thinks it's intestinal and he told me they will put that scope up my butt!!! Will they? What's that like???

about 2 years ago, I was drying my hair w/ a towel and had a sudden sharp pain in my lower neck by my right shoulder. The pain shot up my neck to the right middle part of the back of my head. It felt as if it went up, to the right and then branched out like tree roots. Like all the blood was instantly sucked out. It knocked me to the ground for about 60 seconds. I didn't have health insurance (full-time student, part-time worker) at the time. The back of my head hurt for awhile, but has gotten better. Now, when I sleep in a certain position for too long, or carry heavy equipment, it hurts the back of my head in the "tree roots" spot. Is this something to be concerned about? I worked in a 1-hr photo lab, and the day after it happned I tried to lift the 30-lb paper magazine over my head onto the printer, and I dropped it, b/c of the massive pain to the spot in the back of my head. It seems it was caused by that repeated motion several times/day at work. Will the pain go away?

like the life guard at the swimming centre who walks around like a tough guy and who i feel stares at me, its detered me enough to stop going to the gym for two weeks. but one thing i can say and that i think might be one of the causes of my terrible anxiety and panic, im scared of losing control and becoming aggressive through my rage i struggle with. i think its the consequences of what could happen, gettin in trouble with police and gettin arrested etc, because a while back through my anger, i got in trouble and kicked someone for no reason, i ended up in a mental hospital, im ashamed of this & tryin to put this behind me. but ever since this memory hangs over me like a threat of what could happen if i lose control of my rage. if gotta say id rather be dead than be incarcerated again, & if i knew i was going to be, i would terminate myself rather than face that. but i dont wanna always live my life scared & frightened to stand my ground and face life, but i cant do it at the moment
