1. This is no exaggeration. I brush twice a day, I floss once a day and I rinse with listerine in the morning.....but I have a tooth ache. Its a tooth that I got a root canal on about 4 years ago. Before I started taking such good care of my teeth. What's the deal? I take great care of my teeth. I have been for the past 3 years.

2. I have no dental plan. Before I was in the military and it was free. Does anyone know any good dental plans? I'm a full time student living off the GI bill and a minimum wage job. So I have a fairly low income.

1. It's probably related to the dental work since you do take such good care of your teeth.

2. There are a lot of good places that are cheaper, they don't look nice, but they are committed to dental care for those with a low income. Many times they will also have payment plans. Call a local dental college.

1. I would go find a dentist that could look at it and make sure that they got the tooth cleaned completely out. If there was a crown put on it could be slipping and things are getting into it and that could be the problem. Next, it could be any tooth near that one and it is just radiating to that spot because you do have a crown, which is metal on the inside.

2. Now, this is how you could go get that looked at. Get a phone book and start calling dentist in your area and find out which one would see you without insurance. You could find out if they would take you on a payment plan or what insurance companies they would recommend for the best price. You could put it on a credit card, call different insurance companies and find out what type of policies they have or last, find a dental school in your area that would see you. I know that sounds scary, but they aren't new students, but have been in school for years and are just about to graduate and need someone to practice on. My parents own their own business in GA and it is just the 2 of them, so they don't have access to a policy, so that is where they go. So far, so good and no problems. Good luck! I don't know about you, but I hate to have a toothache almost more than any other problem.

You can go to a local dental college. They use their students who are about to graduate to get some hands on experience. They are about as cheap as you can get if you don't have dental insurance. An actual dentist oversees their work so you don't have to worry about something going wrong. I went there once and they did good work. Gice it a try if there's one close to you.
