Do NOT risk your health to home remedies. I'm not sure your reasons behind not going to the er or not being able to go but this is serious! I know you probably understand it is serious and are scared but you must go to the hospital if you are experiencing symptoms. At least call your hospital and describe what is happening. If you refuse to do that, you risk permanently damaging your health, maybe even risking your life. If money is the issue - it would be better to be slowly paying off the hospital bill alive, than being dead. If you will not call the hospital or go there, please please please call your doctors office first thing in the morning and let them know what is going on. Ethically they have to help you - the hospital or your doctor.
Having such high blood pressure can also damage the back of your eye - this could result in permanent vision loss and blindness. Not something you want to happen.
Are you experiencing a headache in the back of your head? Any nausea? Tingling in the fingers and toes? Weakness? Any of these symptoms are considered hypertensive emergencies and you should be evaluated immediately!!!
Please get medical treatment - I will be praying for you and your health.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Reducing your weight by just 10 pounds may be enough to lower your blood pressure. Losing weight can help to enhance the effects of high blood pressure medication and may also reduce other risk factors, such as diabetes and high bad cholesterol.
High blood pressure
Alternative Names:
HBP; Blood pressure - high
Home Care:
Have your blood pressure checked at regular intervals (as recommended by your health care provider) to monitor its condition and response to treatment.
A proper diet, weight loss, exercise, and salt and alcohol reduction are often recommended for patients with hypertension or pre-hypertension.
The goal of treatment is to reduce your blood pressure, which will lower the risk of complications. The goal is blood pressure at least below 140/90 and below 130/80 if you have diabetes or kidney disease.
If your blood pressure reading is consistently above 140/90 mmHg, your doctor may prescribe medication. If you have any other risk factors for heart disease, especially diabetes, your doctor will consider starting medications sooner rather than later.

Breathe deeply and slowly. Not too deeply (you don't want to hyperventilate). There are many biofeedback devices available on the internet, such as Resperate that I use, that are based entirely on having you slow down and deepen your breath, and that are proven to lower blood pressure. While you can't get one of those devices instantly, the fact is that you can control your breath on your own. Try it out. Keep at it for at least 15 minutes.

Sweetie, you HAVE to go to the ER. It's not a smart *** answer, it is just the way it is. If you are 150/90, you have to go now. They can give you a pill right away and a script for a few to hold you until your meds get here.
Trust me, I have high BP myself. I would NOT try to wait or home remedies. You are probably rebounding (making it higher) because you are off your meds. It's just going to get worse.
Please go be seen? Please?
