both my toenails hurt, but it's minor pain (and it's not because of my sneakers I wear), and I'm trying to find the perfect non-going-to-the-doctor treatment that I can do at home. My dad said something about soaking my feet with hydrogen peroxide for maybe a half hour once everyday. But I'm searching for the perfect solution, and others are saying to soak them in warm water for 15-20 minutes, use salt or epsom salts and mix with warm water. What would you say is the recommended solution to my minor painful ingrown toenails?

Just out of curiosity...could earplugs being worn on somewhat of a daily basis become a risk of hearing loss? I only wear them on a daily basis because they help me focus on what I need to do around the house. My mind tends to drift off and focus on other things, which makes it harder for me to focus on what I really need to do. My left ear has started to become a touchie bit sensitive when I put in an earplug to block off noise (I don't wear them much at night), and I'm worried as to whether my left ear could be starting to lose hearing (I can hear with my left ear just fine right now).

For 5 years, I was in a relationship with a crystal meth addict. I watched him go on a downward spiral. He lost everything because of drugs. About 2 years ago, I got so fed up, I severed all ties with him except the occaisional phone call just to see how he is doing. I called him last week, just to talk for a few minutes, and he sounds horrible. Last time I saw him in person, around October of '05, he looked very sick and skinny and just aweful. His family is close to worthless and I don't think he has any friends left. I can't help but worry about him. If he doesn't stop using, I am afraid he will die. I have very limited knowledge about meth. I never got into using with him and I really don't know what he is going through, but if there is a way I could help him, I would like to try.
