I have a neuromuscular disability and use a wheelchair. I also have severe osteoporosis. For the last six months I have been having a problem with my urine. Sometimes I dribble in my pants or when I transfer the pressure on my bladder causes urine to come out onto my pants. What I am concerned about is that the urine has a white chalky substance that immediately appears on my pants, and when the pants are dry it looks as if somebody has drawn on them with white chalk. This is starting to occur more and more frequently. I took a photograph and took it to my family physician several times. He conducted a urinalysis and found no infections. This last time he said he did not know what it was. He would not even have my clothing tested by a lab to determine what the substance is, nor refer me to a specialist. He just said there was nothing he could do. Urinating a white chalky substance is not normal. I want to know what's causing it, and what I can do about it. Who can I see?
