I have a neuromuscular disability and use a wheelchair. I also have severe osteoporosis. For the last six months I have been having a problem with my urine. Sometimes I dribble in my pants or when I transfer the pressure on my bladder causes urine to come out onto my pants. What I am concerned about is that the urine has a white chalky substance that immediately appears on my pants, and when the pants are dry it looks as if somebody has drawn on them with white chalk. This is starting to occur more and more frequently. I took a photograph and took it to my family physician several times. He conducted a urinalysis and found no infections. This last time he said he did not know what it was. He would not even have my clothing tested by a lab to determine what the substance is, nor refer me to a specialist. He just said there was nothing he could do. Urinating a white chalky substance is not normal. I want to know what's causing it, and what I can do about it. Who can I see?

It could be you're wasting calcium and phosphorus. As you mentioned that you have severe osteoporosis this could be the reason. Your body is not absorbing these electrolytes but instead you pass them into your urine.

Seeing another doctor is spot on by the other people who answered but I would also like to know if you increased your water intake does this still tend to happen, also is there any possibility that this could be dry semen?

I ask because this what might be what your doctor is thinking.

Get tested for diabetes. As for the dribbling issue, I don't know how badly your neuromuscular disability is, but, it sounds like urinary incontinence. Sorry to say, it may be time for the Texas foley catheter.

first of all, you should find a doctor that will listen to you. if you can't communicate with your doctor about your health, then who should you talk to?
consult a urologist and see what they think. if a specialist says it's nothing to worry about, then I would take their advice, but not from a family physician.

hey buddy, get another doctor. Even try to call a uroligist in your area. If he says that he needs a referral, tell him your present situation with your own GP and how you are not getting the answers you want to.

Does you dog eat a lot of bones? Most raw fed dogs have lighter crumbly feces.
