According to the reading I have done regarding hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) the brain, when it senses that blood sugar is low, will do sometimes strange things to get the blood sugar (glucose) out of storage and into the blood stream. If that doesn't happen, then the brain may try to shut the body down, through fatigue, fainting, dizzyness or depression.
Suggestion? When you are dizzy, take 4 big deep breaths - inhaling and exhaling - but not holding or doing fast. Does that help steady you, for a moment?
If it does, then low blood sugar may be the cause.
For relatively long short term relief, eat some protein, meat, a can of tuna or whatever. Also have some carbohydrate, like a handful of chips, an apple or some carrots/celery, and also some peanuts or peanut butter. Eat at least 2 ounces of the protein. Then drink a glass of water and lie down for 30 minutes. You may find your dizziness has lessened a bit.
Chronic low blood sugar can also be the cause of a whole bunch of other physical and mental nasties. You may want to check out the symptoms link on www.hufa.org, and see how you check out.

It could be a problem with your inner ear, although a long-standing one like this could mean this damage happened a long time ago. Inner ear had to do with balance, but one of the symptoms is nausea, and you don't describe that. So maybe it isn't.
A seizure is a moment in time that you miss. You just blank out. I'm not sure if any dizziness accompanies mini seizures. You might want to find out.
Another possibility that might be simpler, but accompanied by headache is dehydration. When you're dehydrated, when you get up suddenly, you get dizzy. Same with lack of food. With lack of food, if you get up too fast, you may actually go blind for a moment, and sway a bit as if you are about to faint, but then everything is okay once the blood reaches your head.
ARe you really tall? Maybe you have low blood pressure, and you need to have a bit of salt or something.

This could be several things, but most likely vertigo (imbalance) or motion sickness of a lesser degree.
Do you take any medications? How old are you? What is your weight? Do you get enough rest at night? What types of food do you eat?...These are just some of the questions a doctor might ask, so if you wind up having it checked out by one go prepared with information that might help.
*NOTE* just saw where you are/were taking Paxil...that is most likely your culprit. I've gone through it myself...took me a long time to even be able to stand the motion of riding in a car. I could not watch any active TV shows. Motion made me feel off balance some of the time, but not all of the time, which was why I did not realize the medication was the cause. Even after I got off of it the effects were still around a while...good luck.

I've read warnings on things like those little fans that spin fast and light up with different colors that it can cause seizures in some people. I asked a doctor friend of mine and he said it's true. It can also happen from some PlayStation games. Don't know if that's what happened to you, but you should get it checked out. There's meds that can help. Good luck.

Sounds like one of 2 things here dude! Either low blood pressure(I suggest you get it checked out )or possibly vertigo, the symptoms here do sound remarkably like vertigo! Never suffered with it myself but know plenty of people that have! Added to which work as a nurse, so reckon I should know what I'm taliking about!! Try eating little and often as many people I know claim that this helps! Hope you soon feel much better dude!xx
