I have been reading posts on people with OCD. I have been noticing similiraties between them and my sister. She's a teenager, and she has to check things a million times, like to make sure her lava lamp and fish tank is off, or the door is locked. She works, and she has to check her work schedule at least six times before she goes to bed to make sure she doesn't work the next day. Then, she sets her alarm really early the next day to make sure she didn't misinterpret her schedule. Also, before she goes to bed, she has a ritual of checking to make sure her cellphone, iPod, and all that is in the right place. EVERYTHING has to be tripled checked. Is this signs of OCD, or just compulsive weirdness? Please, don't be rude..

I burnt my two fingers on a hot-plate really bad and I have had it under cold water for like almost two hours and now it's in a bucket of water next to me and it kills. I tried to take them out and put vaseline but the pain was unbearable so I had to put them back under water really quick. What else can I do? I cant do this all night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband had his wisdom teeth removed yesterday @ 12:00 noon. He kept ice on it all day and most of the night. He is still swollen a little. We are wondering if we should use cold packs or a hot pack since its after the first 24 hours. Please let me know if you can tell me what is best. I would like only those who actually know to answer, not any guesses. Thanks.

Im 15 and I'm attracted to little girls... Is this normal for someone my age? What do i do? Am I a pedophile?

I've never done anything like touched then in places or anything, I can control myself.. i just have fantasies about them, and I can't help it. Please don't just say "go to a therapist" because this isn't going to help me.. I need to know if this is normal.. will i get over it?

This all stared around age 12 and has continued untill now. I don't want to go to a shrink, im afraid of what will happen.. like they'll report me or something, i dont know..

is there something _I_ can do to stop this, like on my own? i don't want my parents to know becuase i dont know what they will think or say.. im afraid to ask anyone and i think this is a good place to ask because i rally dont know anyone..

i have a really bad scarth now vertical and the top of it is like in my hair line it hurts really bad..sice this morning...any suggestions to make it stop hurting? its also right next to a scar i have from running into a wall a couple years ago so it hurts real bad.

I have heard that a person should sleep with the head towards the north or south or something. Seems like it was the roseacrusians or someone. Does anyone know which way I should sleep. I haven't slept for days worried that I am not sleeping properly :-) Any reason why? While your at it I have heard that if you sleep on you left side, blood pools in your lung or something. If you know which way I should be sleeping maybe you know about that also. Thanks.

Alright, I'm 16 years old, been masturbating for most of my life. I seem to do it differently than other girls/women. Instead of actually putting anything inside myself, I kind of push my pointer fingers down on either side of my crotch. I'm aware there are many different masturbation techniques, but it doesn't seem all that 'normal'.

Also, is it normal to pass out when something passes your hymen? I never had sex, but when I went to the geinocologist to get everything checked out last year, and she had her fingers in, I passed out for about 2 seconds. It was the worst pain I ever felt and left me a tiny bit traumatized, but she couldn't find anything wrong.

seriously can not sleep. I have been up for well and I mean well over 24 hrs almost 48 and cannot sleep. Yes lot of stress a lot. honestly no drugs. this happens a lot. If i do fall a sleep mabye an hour.or two, and not good. please help?

I am a little overweight, and under my stomic when i sweat i get this sore red, area. That rasing up like inflamed.. It hurts sooo bad.. And it happens between my leg area anywhere where i sweat. It iches so i scrach it, and it bleeds then hurts 10 times worse. And leaks wet stuff.. Do i have an infection? What could this be?
