Its the ACT that supposedly cause enamel to be regenerated

Probably not. Read the label on the product and see if it says anything about enamel care or regeneration. The swallon gums and sensitive teeth are serious. See your dentist, you may need antibiotic shots. I can tell you what maintains and restores your enamel. Swish your mouth with 8 oz. of warm water and 1 teaspoon of baking soda for 1 minute 3x a day. The baking soda neutralizes the acids that wreck havoc on your teeth. Also, brush with Arm & Hammer Enamel Care toothpaste. NO tarter control toothpaste! They contain pirophasphate. Bad, bad, bad.
Another ingredient that my dentist strongly recommends is a ingredient called xylitol. Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol that helps prevent cavityies. It does this by inhibiting the growth of bacteria that causes cavitites. Over time with xylitol use, the quality of the bacteria changes and fewer decay causing bacteria survive on the tooth surface. For xylitol to be effective, gum or mints should be used 3-5 times a day for a total intake of 5 grams a day. Gum and mints that contain xylitol are Spry gum, ClenDent, Xylipro, and Carefree Koolerz. I also found the ingredient xylitol in Natural Care Tom's of Maine oral products. Their toothpastes and mouth washes have verying amounts of xylitol so read the ingredient list. Remember, the first item on the list of ingredients is the main ingredient. Everthing listed there after is in order by the most to the least amount of product.
Unfortunatally, I have this knowledge from suffering personal experience. Remember, brush and floss 3x a day. Xylitol good, pirophosphate bad.

It shouldn't unless you are allergic to fluoride.
