How is that a practical joke. Normally practical jokes have a series of related events or a backstory or some kind of baiting sequence, etc. etc. etc.?
All you will have done is pour five quarts of motor oil on your wife while she is sleeping.

why not wait till she is awake and pour 1 quart of baby oil on both of you. she might see motor oil as mean. although it might make the washer run a little quieter it's still a be-otch to wash motor oil out of the sheets. So, yes it would be making more house work for her and therefore inconsiderate.

not a funny practical joke. It could really hurt if it go into her eyes, and could make her sick if she swallowed it. Besides, it is almost impossible to wash out of the sheets.
And I highly doubt she would find this funny. Why don'y you just stick with something less harmful like whipped cream, or just letting her sleep and not being such a jacka$$

Forget the motor oil; go with Wesson Oil. Much safer and much more likely to lead to a hot oil pit wrestling match with another woman. (Oh, and much more likely to keep you married, though as indicated above, either way you ain't gonna git any any time soon).
