ok, so i watched a tutorial on how to do fair isle knitting. what i want to knit is a hat, does anyone know of any websites with free fair isle charts or patterns to make a fair isle hat? and how do you read the chart when making it into a pattern or write a pattern from a chart? thanks ahead of time :)

I am knitting a Wendy Sunbeam Paris Mohair pattern (sweater) and do not understand the following instruction: Ïnc. 1 st. at beg. of next row and at same edge on next 3 rows, then on following 7 alt. rows, then on 2 following 4th rows." This is supposed to increase my stitches from 3 to 16. Can anyone tell me what I am supposed to do?

I'm competing in Scrapbook this upcoming weekend. The theme of our book is "Road Trip". So far we have done the membership pages which have each member on a "License" with maps as backgrounds. I using those green signs with the name of the city in how many miles as the content page, and a billboard as the title page. I need help with what to do on the officer pages, and service and activity pages. The activity pages and service pages are basically pictures and captions, I just need theme ideas. Thanks so much! Have an old pendant ,pretty thing.On the back is a label-Handcrafted by Nandor,Victoria.British Columbia.My mother got it 25 years ago on a visit.It looks like flowers under glass.It was a set of three pieces,necklace,ring and bracelet.Mother gave one each to my sisters,and I got the pendant.Does anyone know a site where I might find his work?Please not ebay.

I have tons of little votives that I'd like to paint and give out to friends and family...each one being personalized in some way. I know I need to use glass paint, but what is the best brand? And what is a glass conditioner? Do I really need it? Also, for the finishing spray...is there any specified type or can I just use the same spray I use on my acrylic paintings (on canvas)? i have a glass mug with a pewter oval on it depicting daytona 500 on feb 18, 2001 which is the race that dale earnhardt died in.....i would like to place the mug on ebay as i have been told it may be worth something to collecters of his memorabilia.....i have no use for the mug and i really dont see its value increasing anymore than it is worth now......problem is i dont know anything about ebay...are there steps that i need to be aware of?....is it time consuming?....should i provide a photo?....does it cost anything?....i prefer also not to set a price as it is only worth what someone is willing to give for it and i only know what i paid for it.... any help on this would be great!
